Growing space recomendations

I have tried to grow a few times, always with good success when it comes to colonization (I've never had a contaminated jar!), but when it comes to casings or fruiting from the cakes, I never have had an adequate space to do it correctly. Recently a friend has allowed me to use a closet in his home. The closet is in his basement, in an area where it wont be disturbed and I have already cleaned it up (vacuumed/lysoled heavily).
The space is a closet with 2 sliding doors, one of which I have fixed to the side to keep it more contained. Measurements for the closet are: width 23 Inches, length 80 inches, height 59 Inches. At 59 inches, there is a flat rack (with many little bars, for hangers i guess). Above the rack, there is a second space, that measures the same except with a height of 22.5 inches.
My question for you good folks of the shroomery are what techniques you would suggest I use for this limited space to maximize yield (This grow is supposed to be long-term, so the timing/spacing has to work out in the long run--maybe a year). So far, I plan on using the double tub, fish tank heater, incubation method. I've had success with that in the past. With this space, what size jars do you think would be best (I'm planning on using verm+BR flour and B+, maybe golden teacher spores).
Also, with this space, do you think it makes more sense to do casings (how big should they be, how many jars should I colonize?), or to fruit right off the cakes? I guess just let me know what you guys think,

I think this terrible idea will result in somebody going to jail, and that makes me sad. Please don't grow in your parents' house, your friend's parents' house, or anywhere else that is not your sole property.

Use a monotub or a shotgun . You can search poormans tub with the clay pellets and fruit just the cakes. I recommend this I had good success with it, no fanning or misting needed .

Thanks for reminding me that mushroom growing is illegal. First of all, i never specified what kind of mushrooms I was growing. Second, the owners of the household are aware that I will be using the closet for cultivation and agreed not to enter for sterility purposes.
Please, I am really looking for information from anyone who has experience growing long-term in a constricted space and what an optimal layout would be.
Thanks to anyone who posts relevant information,
Anything is helpful.

If you were going to be growing legal mushrooms, im sure you would have said.... I need a grow area to put my oysters in etc etc.
Go buy a good shed, or take it to the basement.

This is the only space I will have to grow. I won't be able to go anywhere else. With that in mind, does anyone have any recommendations for a good layout?

growing in constricted spaces is not optimal.
and sterility has NOTHING to do with your fruiting area. fresh air does.
and closets dont get fresh air.
have you ever grown mushrooms before?

It's a closet with the dimensions posted above. And Yes, I actually have researched this quite a bit, otherwise I wouldn't bother trying to post something.
And as far as fresh air to the fruiting chambers... First of all I'm trying to decide which type of fruiting tek would work best for this space. Second of all I have an air pump/filter set up I plan on using.
Thanks for all the pointless criticism, your not the one putting money into it so as far as all the flaws for the space I'm using, IM WELL AWARE. So far, one person has posted something useful, so thank you for that.
Please don't post unless you're going to say something useful. For example, if your going to point out that a closet is bad for air flow... why not make a suggestion for some sort of solution? I'm really not trying to be a stickler, it's just that if you guys are so knowledgeable (which I think you are), then why not offer advice instead of just criticism to help a newbie out.
Thanks,

Closets are bad for air flow. And an aquarium air pump just isn't going to work.

So would you say that a closet just isn't going to work? Even with the air pump? Also, I thought it was obvious, but I'm growing cubes if that makes a different.
Is it just not optimal, or is more like... this definitely won't work type situation. I've read many posts of people having their fruiting chambers set up in closets, but I guess I don't really know how that turned out for them.
So say I'm really stubborn, what Tek would you advise for this space?
And again, thanks alot.

It's possible to grow mushrooms in a lot of circumstances. A closet in your own home, sure it can be done.
Your friend's closet, without his mom finding out, just not an option. Plus, you have already told too many people.
Kid, it's great to reach beyond your grasp- that's what being a man is all about... but you must temper that with patience and wisdom. Now is not the time for you to grow mushrooms. Grow up, move out, then try it and we'll help you grow all the mushrooms you ever dreamed of and more.

Well, once again, please read before you post. First of all, I'm 21 years old and prefer my friends basement to my dorm room... Second, his parents know exactly what I am doing. If you're going to personally attack me please read the whole thread (it's not very long). I'm not used to the shroomery being so hostile... Usually everyone here is very friendly and informative.

You could put a fan in the closet away from the door to bring air from it and not pointed at the fruiting chamber so it will circulate the air. I am growing medicinal mushrooms right now in a closet as well. Not even illegal but I want to keep it in my own space and energy. And keep it as discrete as possible from here on out.
Good luck on whatever you do and blessings on your grow. Just remember, many species can help you in maintaining it beyond the physical world, if you are into that sort of thing

i seriously don't understand what doc said that was hostile. it's good advice. you should either take it or learn how to ask questions w/o revealing too much about yourself.

Hostile? I'm being as polite as I can be.
You are in a dorm, you must be in college. So you're smart enough to UTFSE. Do so.
