What is the point of a heat bath in dmt extraction
    #14337735 - 04/23/11 10:37 AM (12 years, 9 months ago)

So what is the point of a heat bath in dmt extraction?
Is it to speed up the separation process?
and if a heat bath is done, when is the proper time to do it?

thanks

heat generally speeds chemical reactions....

but you should do a search for DMT posts made by natureboy.

the warmer the solvent the more it can hold.  so when the temp drops, the saturation point goes down, the deem precipitates out.

or something like that

Increased temperature excites atoms more and in their excitement they are much more prone to chemical change/reaction.  Ever notice how salt or sugar dissolves much more quickly in hot water vs. cold?

Thanks thats what I was guessing.

I will definitely do a search on that too. Know any specific threads he posted in?
Also if anyone could help me figure out what is the appropriate time to perform a heat bath that would be great. In the mean time I will do some more searching
