See, for me politics is a self regulating mechanism anyways...
If you're actually so narcissistic that you believe you should be in office..... You're not the kind of person I would vote for.

totally. it makes me crack up to see the hubris with which politicians operate within. these folks seem to be the best representation of megalomaniacs we have in our culture.

"We are all intoxicated. We were born into an insane asylum, a world crazy-making. We believe what we see and hear. The real myth is the myth of sanity, of rationality: it's a disease that is eating away at the earth. All the poisons flow from our denial. We deny madness, we forget our crimes, we dismember the corpse, we imprison our children. We need poison to poison the poison, to remember the sacred nature of intoxication, the green body of the young god." ~ Dale Pendell

It's like the mob.
They tell you what to do and if you don't listen they stick guns in your face and steal your shit/your freedom.
Everyone is deluded into thinking they are participants in some system. They are merely a party to their own enslavement.

All this cynicism and allegations of 'theater' being posted is obviously well-deserved, but I think it should be noted that once you get to the smaller micro-political systems and look close you can see some tangible differences in policy approaches and political ideology, particularly the state and local levels. Even to the points of elections having three or more viable candidates instead of the faux 'left/right' disctinction in mass-market political theater.

If you assume premeditated dishonesty from both major parties and that they are both on the same team and that any disagreement is merely play acting for the masses, then a lot of things that can't be explained start to make sense.
The same could be said of assuming universal human stupidity, in gov't and outside.
People try to do what they think is right and will benefit everyone, but they're idiots so it blows up in their faces.
For example, I think Bush really thought that invading Iraq would be an easy process and end in democratic and friendly state.

To be honest I do not think thats the case. I do believe these people have an agenda. What is it? Dont know. But they all cannot simply just be "dumb"

Why is there such a media propaganda to try to convince the american people that Libya is not U.S. in charge of it's operations and invasion? To show that the national debt shouldn't be a part of this? The arms dealers and NATO? And yes, there are many arms dealears/corporations in the U.S. as well making huge profits from this and the 11 year wars.
Oil, resources, and "defense spending". Fuck it, it's going to fall sooner or later.

I only get to see $70 out of ever very $100 I earn? seriously? what the fuck! I can't wait to marry my girlfriend and go back to 15% for federal income tax.

america's form of politics is polarizing. the way we frame democracy in the form of opposite political ideaologies. the police seem to think they have more power all the time. nothing is getting done politically. our form of democracy and capitalism is obviously unsustainable and we are running ecology in the ground. the economy is in the shitter. american's are more apathetic and lazy than ever before. america is becoming a wasteland of trash and drugs.
that pretty much sums it up.

Joseph Goebbels:
“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

Which is why we all saw how our government reacted to the truths wikileaks brought fourth. Simple facts for all to see yet was damned by our officials with even some demanding death for the founder.
Pretty clear cut here folks.

Its like wrestling, all an act.
As I just stated in another thread money and thus big business controls our worlds governments.
Watch zeitgeist 3 - it explains everything. That video should be mandatory viewing for all humanity. At least then we could get everyone up to stage 1 - realization of what system we are in. We need that as stage 1 of changing anything on this planet with this current global monetary control system.
At present probably less than 1% of the planet are even aware of the system they exist in and how it operates.

Not a lot we can do TBH.
Stop using money as much as possible, def don't join or work for armies. Learn how to forage and survive the old ways - you can opt out basically if you want. Join an eco community and join the zeitgeist movement.
If you have a job and use money then you are in a very small way supporting the system that is raping 3rd world countries. In effect we live well at the expense of the 3rd world starving to death.
Its a tough one thats for sure.

We need to strive for a kind of society where we work with nature, not against it. We need some equilibrium. I do not believe human beings are inherently out to destroy everything but in our current state, we are like a virus to this planet.
This man has the right idea. He is so ahead of his time in this video it's truly remarkable.
Also, check out Larry with a full head of black hair. He was really pimpin' in the 70's

Yeah, its saddening in a way that this was known about and on TV that long ago yet nothing has changed. I spose we have a few more people aware thanks to the internet but the progress has been slow and advancement in the opposite and negative direction has been much faster.
