concerned about my poppies

ok so im not exactly sure i bought opium poppies they dont seem to look exactly like the ones i see pictures of and since the pictures arn't the greatest i will try to describe them as much as possible. I bought the seeds from ethobotanicals.com. a pack of china white and tasmania (they are suppose to be). they are about 3 weeks old it seems like only one of the strains actually grew with one that looks differnt which i assume to be the Tasmanian one. the all have tall lanky stems between half a inch to a inch but now they are starting their cabbage like leaves showing about 3 leaves now, the leaves have tiny little hairs on them, but they jsut dont look like the pictures they are still very small. any advice would be great and if anyone knows if the website i bought the seeds from are a reliable vendor

Mine still have tall lanky stems and only about an inch and a half max. I think this seedling stage just takes a while and then one they start to get their cabbage like base you leave them be and they kinda grow by themselves. I'm still watering mine a little just once a day but I'm thinking of leaving them be and seeing how they do. From my understanding they are a pretty resilient plant.

All seedlings look similar, wait til they are bigger and you can ID. Otherwise they look kinda crowded. You want like 3" between plants I believe but leave them to see how they do or til someone who knows better than me pipes in

I'd suggest not weeding out till they are around 3-4 inches tall, this way if anything happens (like 3 days of intense rain), you won't have the few seedlings you had left drowned (I'm talking from experience ) Also, I've never done this before, but I've read around 8 inches between plants is ideal, preferably a foot.
