Can I use the egg-white method on 3fl oz caapi tea?

I thought that clarification was mainly for the mimosa ?

Last time I made it, I used it on both. It did nothing for the caapi, but pulled tons of gunk out of the mimosa brew. It worked good, no nausea, no purge and no diarhea.

I use gelatin myself, but I've heard of others using egg whites with good results.

To be honest I have never used it for B.caapi specifically. But regardless, its an effective way of removing some of the tannins and other undesirables that are too small to be filtered out. I am not aware of it binding to any of the desirable alkoloids but perhaps someone more experienced in these matters can chime in?
