Psilocybe weilii is a completely different species...
Strain:
Strain The equivalent of race in plants and animals. The same species may consist of strains that vary considerably in genetic make up, but all are sexually compatible
Species:
Species Fundamental unit of biological taxonomy. Generally spoken, two individuals belong to the same species if they can produce fertile offspring ..
Strains can be created in labs by playing around with mycelia.. and fruiting them to see their characteristics....just like cultivated varities of plants.
Why am I going on about this?? I just like everyone to understand everyone else...
I believe there are as many strains as there are Cow paddocks... And new species are popping up now and again... it's up to the Taxonomists to decide what is a new species and generally it involves boring taxonomic conventions and stuff.
Sorry I f i go on

race is a mass social stereotype, irish americans werent "white" in the 1930's, but i do see the link, if only race was based completely on genetic traits!
