I agree it's not the thing to do but I just don't get bidets.
A warm water shower for the bung hole or a dry piece of paper.
If you got shit on your hand would you just clean it with a piece of paper, hell no. That really is the thinking behind them. I want one.
Yeah, nice CLEAN bidets are awesome you can also use them for cleaning your feet for example, basically anything that doesn't require as much water as the shower, and can't be done in the lavatory. I never knew why americans don't use bidets, but it should be some cultural thing?
Bidets made a comeback in the UK in the 80s. I used to have one in my old house but we removed that shit because washing one's arse is considered a bit poncy.

-------------------- I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

OOoh boy...
Well, I don't know how it works with others (although I have to say that most of the people I know probably don't have the habit of using the bidet after taking a dump), but you take dump, you clean yourself with a bit of paper so you won't get shit all over your hands, and then you rinse, to stay really clean, it's like bathing yourself after taking a dump but only in that area. And you can wash other bodily parts of course.
It's also great when you have those gastroenteritis when you don't know if you're going to shit or puke or both at the same time.
Holy bidets

I've never seen one of those though, always worked with a regular faucet like a lavatory.

Whenever I'm driving behind someone who's really slow, I of course get in the next lane to pass them. But when I do, I always look over to see if the driver is an old Asian lady(and often enough, I'm right).

I was going to a jazz club and I'm familiar with the door guy, I mean I know his name and I know that he's black and kind of a big guy. So I walk in the door and I see a black dude hanging out around the door so I say hey and start getting out my money and he says "Frank (door guy) is over there"..lol. Not really racist but I felt very dumb. Kindof goes along with that whole "all black people look the same" stereotype.

Do you dry your ass after, and where does the water that you just washed your ass in go? Does it just flush away like a normal toilet?
So many questions...

it works exactly like a lavatory. It has 2 faucets, one for hot water another for cold (or one faucet in which you can choose either), and a drain:

and then you have, bidet towels (the smallest of the set):

Also I found this link on "how to use a bidet":
http://www.wikihow.com/Use-a-Bidet
Although I don't think there's any science to it, it's just as cleaning yourself in the shower but your sitting.

not "community" bidet. Public washrooms usually never have a bidet and if they did I would never use it just as would never sit in a public toilet, it's not hygienic.
You have it at your house and share it with the same people whom you share the rest of the bathroom with, that's why having someone leaving piss on your bidet is just wrong.

To be fair to the Indian guy it's easy to get confused between the bidet and toilet.

Probably, if he didn't have any toilets in India, which seems unlikely.
Although that's not why I kicked him out either, even if it had been an honest mistake, he should have cleaned his own piss and not leave it there for the "women" to clean. When he got there it was "piss clean" for sure, in doubt, leave things as you found them.
