10x Caapi extract (making?)

So, do I just soak 10g crushed leaves in acetone? How long does it take to saturate? Then I assume remove the leaves, and replace with 1g crushed leaves, then allow to evaporate completely, and it should have 10x dry caapi, ready for DMT Freebase infusion (which could be added at the same time as 1g at 1:1?
That about it?

Not exactly. I would think most caapi extract is made from vine rather than leaf.
This should work fine for changa though.

Yes. There are various solvents which can be used, you may find that acetone takes a long time to evaporate I'm not sure. I used isopropyl alcohol and it worked perfectly. You will have to leave the finely crushed leaves in the solvent for 10-14 days. You will notice that when this time has been reached the solvent will turn red when you shine a light through it. Very Pretty. A dark green solvent which turns red in the light! Perhaps the DMT Nexus forum has more information on this topic.

Heh, didn't even notice; yes, I was referring to 1g of 10x caapi to infuse with 1g of freebase.

You've got it right in the OP. A few comments: -Leaf works great. -Acetone is more volatile (evaporates much faster) than IPA. -recommended soak time for extracting the caapi (at the Nexus) is about 3 weeks. -no soak time necessary for the infusion, just add, mix well, and allow to evaporate without messing with it.
-make sure it is very dry with no solvent smell at the end.
