Great links.
"Freepers", the only place I've heard that is at democratic underground. Those lamers are almost as intolerant as the (scapegoats) freepers you flame all the time.

Heh,
Nah, although I do visit democratic underground and of course agree with that board much more then most on this one and am more inclined to dub the war mongers of this group as the lamers-- freepers has been a part of my language since watching some religious southern baptist freaks fawn over daddy bush at the opening of his presidential library at my college
but keep gunning for your agenda, although I dont have the right character set, Arabic is lost to you anyway, so it doesnt matter:

Counter Punch is the only really questionable source, and that is really just a summary of what the other links imply anyway.

Arabic? If you know how to install the Arabic multi-language support into IE5 then PM me.
My agenda? That is peace, love, freedom, and free drugs, just to let you know.

If I was running IE5, corporate facist software, maybe I could do that. Alas, no such luck.

Solaris with Opera at the moment-- although I admit, I do have a windows emulator that I could cheat on
On a slightly related note so that I dont degrade this topic into an off topic discussion
Doesnt it seem like we have just deserted afghanistan, I know we still have some presence but... and wasnt it bizzare that the american public so conviently forgot about it and let it be swept under the rug? I mean, exactly what are we doing right now to help the Afghani people?

There's combat with Taliban and Al-Qaeda still going on along the pakistani border.
>>> I mean, exactly what are we doing right now to help the Afghani people?

Im aware but... I mean, you gotta admit, Karzai is a joke, the taliban is actually coming back up out of the wood work in other areas and we havent helped that country at all to rebuild what we tore apart.
And the heroin... Of course! How did I forget that? Nice one

Ppl there are glad the Taliban's gone, for the most part. Karzai (sp.?) isn't a joke, he's a USA puppet leader. He's bad for afghanistan IMO. USA is taking away the Afghani people's freedom (essential RKBA) as much as possible to help them rebuild.

Building a pipeline through Afghanistan of course, which is so much easier to do without that pesky Taliban interfering...

Construction on the pipeline has begun? I must have missed that. Can you provide for us a list of the contractors involved?

I call you on that one. A few months back Rono provided an excellent and detailed article that actually provided a link to the full text of the agreement between Afghanistan and Pakistan re: the proposed pipeline. The key word here is "proposed". As of the time of publication of that article, the members of the international consortium which Afghanistan and Pakistan agreed were to be in charge of all aspects of its construction had yet to be selected.
The contract has not in fact, been "awarded". There is no way I would have missed that announcement -- it would have been all over every news outlet for days.
If you can provide proof that it has been awarded, I will of course apologize abjectly.
