running an oxygen tank to monotubs???

i have a couple oxygen tanks... would it be beneficial to run lines of pure oxygen into each tub at a very slow rate? if not that, then i could just run some in the grow room. raise the amount of O2 in the grow room so the tubs are sure to get enough oxygen during gas exchange.

Obligatory "don't blow yourself up" warning.
That said, I can't wait to see how it goes.

From everything i have read about o2 or co2, is that it all has been done. The results were no change in growth rate or size. 85% sure thats how i read it,

If you think I'm an idiot for saying it won't work, then too fucking bad. It won't work. In addition, if CO2 actually settled to the bottom of a terrarium as new growers seem to think it 'should', we'd all die from the industrial CO2 being emitted into the atmosphere. There are air currents in a terrarium caused by heating of the substrates and lighting, therefore the CO2 is mixed, just as it mixes with the air in our atmosphere, and doesn't settle to the surface the way water does.
Your mushrooms don't need oxygen, they need air. Fresh air. Lots of it. A terrarium should NEVER be sealed up. In addition, very little CO2 is produced by mycelium in the fruiting stage. CO2 is produced during the colonization phase and that doesn't happen in a terrarium.
It's also not hard to keep a terrarium humid in the desert. I live in a high elevation mountain desert area, and the average RH is around ten percent, yet I have zero trouble maintaining humidity. However, fresh air exchange is FAR more important than humidity, which can easily be made up for with misting, which you should be doing anyway. RR

I once tended (after the fact) to an elderly lady in a nursing home who was invalid and on oxygen. Her daughter noticed her lips were chapped and applied Vaseline to them. Within an hour, the old lady's face 'exploded' into flames and killed her. RR

Another one. http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/5505403
So far I'm not seeing any experiments but the logic behind not doing it is sound.

In that second thread RR says inhaling oxygen can eliminate a hangover.
