Is it possible to interpret your own dreams?
Im starting to look into this because even though it sounds impossible, a nice skill it would be to have.

Anyone have any good references for info or experience with this phenomena??

I think you can definitely interpret your dreams but I dont think you can buy a book or ask somebody else to do it for you. Obviously some themes are potentially universal but your dream is a personal reflection of your own psyche. If you start writing down whatever you remeber of your dreams when you wake up and go with your first gut instict as to the meaning you should start to develop a good feel for them. I used to do this a fair bit but havent done for a long while. I have been thinking about doing this again so your post provided a timely reminder
Edit: Actually I was referring to Dream Dictionary type books but a good book I found is Conscious Dreaming by Robert Moss. He explains the technique outlined above which was where I originally came across it.

To me, it seems like dreams are interpretations. They never seem like linear chronologies of events until I later think about them, arrange, and describe them as such.

yes but i find that the symbols to reality are there frequently, usually about a number of things from problems to goals and rarely from things that might or likely to happen.
and im sure not everyone even remembers dreams exactly the same after all, not everyone is on the same level mentally and physically.
