First grow, first fail

So.... My 1/2 pint jars took over 2 months and still had not colonized the entire jar. It appeared to be doing nothing at all. I was letting them get air, I tried watering them with a sterilized syringe(flamed the tip, boiled the water, let it cool). I got impatient, a mistake I will not make again! I decided to put them in the fruiting chamber to finish colonizing, after first giving them a cold water bath(boiled it, let it cool, dunked them). Within 3 days, this happened.

Now I know what I did was stupid, but does anyone know what specifically might have caused a reaction like this? Its pretty damn peculiar if you ask me.
And happy 4/20 everyone!

SOMEBODY KILL IT!
Looks like you did not follow proper sterile procedure when inoculating, that or the syringe you used had contaminates.
Seeing ass all your cakes contaminated with many different things I would say a combination of both?
You are going to want to dispose of that right away. Chances are it is already to late and you have spread contaminate spores all over yourself, your grow area and your house. You should have tossed them at the first signs of contamination.

Birthing cakes before they're fully colonized is very risky. Obviously

well can't grow in that house again. I hope those pics where taken outside as the amount of mold you just spewed into you grow area is quite a bit. Toss everything them repaint maybe?
Looks like its outside on the deck? Good job for at least taking it outside but you should have just left it sealed then burned it with a low yield nuclear weapon.

I would get a gallon of gasoline , pour it inside the tub and all over the cakes, then drop a match in the tub to make a sterile funeral pyre.

There's no way in hell that happened within 3 days. When you get a new house, try again, but follow proper procedures next time. 1/2 pint BRF jars should fully colonize in 2 to 3 weeks. If they don't, you did something wrong so don't try to 'save' them. That mess should have been trash can tek'd a week or two ago. RR

That is insane! Make sure you clean everything and vacuum well, possibly even shampoo the carpet and bleach it all! Otherwise that has got to be the coolest looking failure I've seen!

Well I'm glad you all were entertained, yea it is pretty fucking crazy ill admit.
I was as sterile as is possible to be in my home, but its not the cleanest place. There was absolutely no contamination for that first 2 months, until I put in the fruiting chamber. To RogerRabbit... In 3 days it was looking pretty bad, this is about 5 days where I finally opened it up and had my bro snap a picture. I never opened it up inside the house thank god. Soon as the I noticed the disaster I rushed it outside. And yes it is all shit canned, not going to reuse any of that except the tank heater(not even sure about that). My fear is that maybe it was the spore syringe, I got 2 of them from the same place, Ill try the other one soon see what happens. Fingers crossed I really don't want a repeat of this shit.
When I opened it up, I flashed on that episode of Cowboy Bebop where Spike left the Ganameyde rock lobster in the fridge for a whole year and it started attacking people.

That is an overwhelmingly impressive display on the cultivation of Dactylium (cobweb) mold. Well done!!!
My first grow wasn't a complete failure, but it was a disappointment, for sure. Try, try again.

The silver lining is that your Sony camera took some great photos. Its been awhile since I saw such nice crisp clear photos on the board.
P.S. you might want to scrub the Exif info off your photos.
