Responding to selective burglary

So just yesterday I had a few friends over smoking a bowl. I've been saving up ganja for 420 and so I decided to just grind up all my bud at once and pool it in a tupperware container for ease of use. I also just got a new spoon. So I left the tupperware and the pipe on my desk overnight while I slept. Woke up, everything was fine. Tried to take a hit out of the pipe and said "fuck it, thats 100% cashed". I realized I was late for class so I set the pipe down and put the tupperware away in my desk, just left the pipe out in the open though and booked it. Stopped at the grocery on my way back home. Then when I went to empty out my vape bowl.... the tupperware containers were gone. I looked all over, they're nowhere to be found. My pipe is missing too. But everything else of value in my room is still here. Obviously calling the cops is out of the question because the only things stolen were illegal.
I'm almost certain it was Dude A who was smoking with me yesterday. He was the only person I told that I'd be busy during the day... and one of the only two people who knows I have a lot of weed. And he has a history of being a klepto. Granted, considering that fact it wasn't the wisest choice to invite him over in the first place.
But how do I deal with this? I know from experience that accusing him directly won't accomplish anything other than cutting off the possibility of getting my shit back. But I want to get my shit back/get even if at all possible.

Looks like you might be SOL unless theres a way to steal it back from him. People definitely steal selectively, I used to have a friend who sold bud and one day someone broke in and took all his bud and bongs didn't touch any money or anything else worth cash.

That's rough man. I've had a friend set me up before to get an lb. taken from me.
There aren't many options. You could beat his ass, tell everyone what he did so nobody will trust him and see him as a snake, find a way to steal something from him, slash his tires, smash his windshield etc.
It all depends how much was there and if it's worth it.
like Tupac said though "revenge is like the sweetest joy next to gettin pussy"

Shit in a bag and rub it all over his door. Its not exactly gonna bring your weed back, but it'll make you feel a fuck ton better.
I make a point to keep my weed locked up, don't trust those shifty pot heads.

In many threads in this forum, too many people have gone to great lengths to describe morals as... subjective.
While I find that to be a moronic viewpoint, maybe it's one that the thief/vandal subscribes to.

Man. You need to be more careful. Fuck having people over unless they have stuck their neck out for you before. Seriously, since you can't call the cops or anything when shit goes bad. You know where he lives, right?

There are a few other forums I post in, and several I stay out of because the level of stupidity in them is revolting.

Hate to break it to u bro, but ur SOL. Theres nothing you can do really. Even if legal shit got robbed from me i wouldnt call the cops let alone Shmig (jersey word for weed). the only thing you can do is confront the kid. Me? I put a gram in a bag and then my stash in my safe. No one in my school knows i have more then a G at anytime EVER. If you advertise you got a lot of something, someone is going to want to take it. its the way of the world my unlucky friend. now if it were me, id invite the kid back over, have a couple of my friends there, then not let him leave till he told me wer everything was, gave me a key to his house to go retrieve it, then id strip him naked and leave him in the Bradley Project buildings down the road with a Nazi and KKK symbol we drew on him in permanent marker. But I don’t think I would follow my advice except for the part that u cant do a god damn thing but HIDE UR STASH. And Not tell anyone about it. Theres a couple things that go hand in hand with drugs, one of them being robbery.

Sucks to say it but I probably wouldn't be friends with most people on shroomery IRL because they think they are being funny all the time which translates into naggy doucheness
