I think all of us have a mythological character we identify with in some way, something that represents a part of us. It could be a character in a movie, a novel, in mythology, a family member, anyone. Whats your totem?

You can tell what your totem is. It doesn't change anything.
I think what you are talking about are more like guides, and that is a personal choice whether to disclose that. The OP is just saying, who do you identify with.

A whle a go I meet this psychologist guy and after not even five minutes of talking to him he could already tell me things about myself just by the few things I had said and how I heald myself. It was preity amazing, he said he liked to give his patients he worked with a totem that explained or symbolized a prominent part of them and he gave me tree beard from lord of the rings. I just started thinking about it last night and was wondering what other people would choose as a totem.

pretty cool dude, don't let the psychologist influence you during your sessions though. I saw a counselor in college for a bit. he was a cool guy and made sure that I lead the sessions...
