One possibility is that the jars were not cooled enough and when you innoculated, the temp killed all the spores. It takes several hours for a jar to cool completely from the inside out. But if you innoculated at the same exact time as the PF then i dont knw what could have happened. Did you shake the syringe?

Yeah, I innoculated the same strain about 5 days ago and am seeing nothing as well...------------------ Ted Kennedy killed more people with his car than I've killed with my gun.

I grew out some PES Hawaiians. Got a decent yield with casing, but was very disappointed with the mushrooms. Tons of body noise. And they took forever to colonize the substrate.Just my two cents. Peace. ------------------ I choked Linda Lovelace!

I grew out this strain on cakes and then cased about 9 months ago. It was a very inconsistent yielder, some really big, some really small. I also grow several other strains regularly and never have that problem. The high sucked, I ate about an eighth(I do have a scale) and tripped not quite as hard as I do on 1.5 g's of Thai Koh-Samui. I ditched the strain shortly thereafter. Your mileage may vary.

odd how much people's experiences vary. i found the pes hawaiian to be very vigorous, literally ripping thru birdseed and giving impressive yields and potency.
