I don't think 13-15 is Lactarius. It looks too concave, too thin, and the overall texture of the cap doesn't seems like a Lactarius.
Was it growing from that log or from the ground? Can you take a picture of the gills if you go back?
From this picture, I'd call it perhaps a Lentinus sp. but really more info is needed.

EDIT: Ha! I knew it!

Btw, 21-22 is Amanita flavoconia.

thanks man.

what do you think 11-12 is then? can it be gymnopilus palmicola?
it wasn't on a palm so i just assumed it was luteus.
i know for a fact that it's a gym (spore print) and it looks identical to the palmicola that have been popping up everywhere in florida.
is it possible that it is a palmicola not growing off of a palm?

thanks again the thinker.

:huxleyfacepalm:
i should have known this.

the amanita had bands above the bulb. i pitched it anyway being that it was filled with worms and/or maggots of some sort and i'm not a fan of amanita "tripping" to begin with.

Your "Megacollybia/Pluteus plautus" could be Pluteus cervinus.

21-22 are not Amanita muscaria (Amanita muscaria var. guessowii) they would have white warts. Did the stem bruise at all? What did the base look like?

We need a gill shot of the possible Gymnopilus - are there any red tones in the cap?

no bruising at all. base was bulbous and i could have sworn it had rings (i might be mistaken though). after i snapped the picture i cracked it open only to find it infested with what looked like tiny little maggots, so i immediately pitched it. i am not a fan of them to begin with so i would not have consumed it regardless. i assumed the warts were white and just got some sand kicked up on them.
i guess i was wrong and it is flavoconia.

ill get back to the gym spot and take some pictures of the gills. i did not want to pick them because i wanted them to drop some more spores because the cluster is not big enough to begin with.
i believe if you zoom in on the picture of the gyms you can see the red tones on the cap. this is what immediately made me think they were active. i also noticed some very slight blue bruising on the stem.
i'll get back out there and snap some more photos.

i'm really interested in pics 1-6 however.
any ideas on those would be fantastic.

thanks for your help.
