at it again!!
    #14313705 - 04/18/11 08:23 PM (12 years, 9 months ago)

Hola fellow shroomers and likeminded individuals.  Just wanted to check in and say hey.  After a few years out of the game a recent biology class has convinced me to get back into growing.  I wanna try out a new skill set Ive aquired from this microbiology class so I guess now I can blame my lack of adherance to authority on the school system.  Thank you community college!

Got everything I need and all thats left to do is set up the jars and get some myc to move in.  Ill be doing Texas freestone and hawaiin and if you guys are interested Ill try and keep a grow log up.  Also Id like to give a quick thumbs up to a tek that ive long thought was the absolute coolest way to humidify and the least problematic too.

The Bubbleh Tek:  http://www.shroomery.org/9789/Teh-Fire-and-4get-Bubbleh-Humidifier

Thanks for listening hope to be tryppin with you soon!!

That's cool but try putting a fogger in a 5 gallon paint bucket.

Looks like he's got a CO2 drain in there, his fae should be good, especially on cakes, especially in an fc that size, especially if its on 24/7. But I agree with you, I am a homer bucket + blower kind a guy myself.

The problem I see is that assuming the thing is running 24/7, that water reservoir probably dries up every day.

If you add a floater your mister will stay with your water level.

but then you'd need to either supply your reservoir with a "filler tank" like most home-ultrasonics, or go to a bucket so that you don't have to micromanage your water...

Well this is a small grow..  Ive got the fogger on for 4 hours a day and it never drops below 98% humidity.  For FAE Ive always just waved out the fruit chamber two or three times a day.  Seemed to work well the last time.

The reason i went with this and nothing bigger is because the setup i have fits inside a lock chest.  PLus it looks badass seeing the shroomies growing up out of psychedelic colors and fog.  Ive tripped before just watching them grow haha
