You'll be ok. I dont heat my house and had success in the 50-60 range. It just colonizes slower. Im never in a rush tho like most people. Lol

Definitely stray away form floor heaters anyway, the convect poorly and conduct extremely well, which leads to cooked mush buddies . And if you sealed properly all of the water that has been in there still is, so you're probably fine without adding anything

So what about the adding of the water cuz they are a little black tinted, but im pretty sure its not contam since its on all the jars, all the way around, would i risk messing them up by adding water, or should i just leave them to there own doings for 2 weeks then check em out, any help is great considering i stalled out my first grow by changing habitats alot

You don't need to leave them in the dark, the cool temps were probably slowing them down and the heater will probably quicken it although unnecessary, wait maybe another week? I didn't see one of my jars germinate until the second week but I used a tower heater to bring temps to 78 for a bit.
Where did you get your spore syringe from?

It may be contams, it may be that they're cooked! The myc will puff up and inevitably shrivel into little noodles, no color change should be appartent

I got my Syringe from Ralphstersspores.com and i have then wrapped in towels so the heat cant really cook them off (i think), but so far the only thing thats happened is the light black all over the jars, posting pics in a min!

Towels = not a good idea since they undoubtedly have contams on them (bacteria in the air and whatnot) and you have surrounded it with them. Leave them in the open or put them in an open drawer. Black is not good

Can't see anything in that pic man. I started a grow one day before you did yours and it's over 90% colonized. I'd say start some new jars

Well thats what i was getting at was that nothing was growing, but i mean it couldnt hurt to leave them for a bit and just see what happens, if it ends up being a bust next friday when i get paid ill start over. But i guess i just dont understand how they grow freely out in nature yet in a house at controlled temps, and complete sterility they still fail

Did you wait for the jars to cool to room temperature before injecting the spores? Do you have holes in the lid for gas exchange? I need you to pick up the latest newspaper and read me your horoscope.

Well i got all the stuff, then mixed the verm and water making sure that it was moist but not dripping water, then added the BRF, next i filled the jars packing them down just a tad, wiped the top off the jars then boiled them on medium high for an hour and a half, did that with both sets of 4. Let them cool overnight then the next day around 1pm, i sprayed my room down with lysol let that set into the air for about 15 mins, then put on my face mask and started innoculating the jars, cooking the needle after every other jar. After that i put micropore tape over all the wholes then put then in a box in my closet. 2 days later opened the box and there was nothing so i went and checked my house temp which was at 64 degrees so then i went and bought a floor heater which has been keeping humidity at 30% and temp at 80 degrees from monday 4/11 till now and there is nothing happening. I have now taken the tape off, the towels away and put the in open space with a house temp of 68 degrees now.

Are you sure you let your needles cool? I've already killed spores that way

I sprayed a little spore solution out before sticking it in the jars, to cool the needle
