I have visions on mushrooms that are wrong, but when I'm having them, they seem right. For example I had a great time on one trip and came out believing that life is perfect. Well, life isn't perfect, but I tried to believe it for as long as I could. Doesn't sound like much but it was seriously depressing trying to maintain that belief.

The only evil in mushrooms is being able to feel *SO GOOD*, perfect, insightful, etc for only a small amount of time.

I don't think you can go blaming it on the shrooms. Rather, it is our inability to deal with the lessons we learn when we're on shrooms. It's hard to maintain a positive perspective and an open mind during normal day to day activities. Mushrooms are only evil in that they expose to you the evil parts of your own mind.

The evil side of mushrooms???
As someone said above, once you choosed the mushroom way, it's hard to get back to "normal" life. Like since I do shrooms I think a lot about philosophy e.g wether our minds are free or everything is predetermined [like a mathematical function:there's only one specific f(x) ] etc.

YOU have to decide wether that's "evil" or not. :confused:

Here is my person experience with mushrooms.


First, I notice a rush of anxiety and I'm a little disoriented. I notice my percpeption is starting to change.

Then my awareness kind of turns inward, and I get to the bottom of the human experience. Feeling directly effects thought, so as Im feeling anxiety, and Im in the basic program of human experience - I dont feel negative about it, but it DOES seem like a form of torture.


Slowly, but surely the trip changes until after about 3 hours Im the complete opposite, completly blissful and happy and 100% content with every aspect of everything.



I see a mushroom trip as comparable to a physical destination trip, like a long walking journey. If done right, all Long , long journeys will be insightful, blissful, calming, enlightenening - yet not without going through sweat, blood, tears, pain, tortue, agony, etc.


The reason I like mushrooms is because they dont neglect any part of reality for me. They let me see the reality I create for myself and can create for myself in both bad and good.




I personally get an enjoyment out of endurnig the hardship of the becoming mushroom trip. If it was all pretty and sugar coated, the Im afraid I wouldnt be attracted to it.



Some of the best lessons I've learned in life are out of my own suffering.

mntlfngrs, i've read the series...Was first book series i ever read. Favorite was Riding a Pale horse, Weild a red sword and the love of evil.

So should we conclude that mushrooms just are?

In the same way that everything else just is, and for things to just be, they must be a balance between opposite aspects of themselves?

Good + Evil = neutral
white + black = neutral
up + down = neutral

So mushrooms could be considered neutral just like everything else out there...

my last trip had me vision millions of pounds of human biomass being pumped into sewers and drainage pipes. i saw bodies being torn to pieces as they were hanging from the cross. ironically, these images didn't disturb me at all.

yeah Freak I've seen some majorly gorey visions as well, but who's to say "that's EVIL right there!" ya know? I mean as long as you don't freak out, why call if 'evil?'

Well i suppose calling ANYthing evil implies a certain sort of value judgement, and then of course your perception(s) will be bound by your deciding that any given thing or "appearance" is "evil"....
