Theres pyramids world over.
Look into the underwater pyramids - very interesting ;-) Suggests an unrecognised global civilisation with some forms of high technology that we don't give them credit for.
Its just it was kept by those in power just like it is today. The peak of the US military has all sorts of super technology that us public know nothing about and have no access too. I think it was kinda the same back then - there were people that had high technology it just wasn't available to the common man same as today.

How'd this get to be about the railroad? Us americans have never minded slave labor. The Egyptians, however, saw there leaders as gods and slaves as inferior assholes. We never minded having inferior assholes build shit, as long we didn't have to do it.

I'm really not sure they looked down on slaves that much. In ancient times being a slave was something you did, for instance to get out of debt or by losing a war, not as much something you WERE.
I think New World slavery was the worst where it came to systematic dehumanization, not because of the people but because it was across racial lines, making the distinction between a slave and a free even greater. In NW slavery you could look at someones body and see whether they were a slave, in olden times you'd have to look at what they wore and/or what they were doing. There was no "natural born slave race" as defined by science AND religion in the olden days, that was a later invention to justify even greater exploitation and atrocity.

There weren't any records of Jewish slaves in ancient Egypt. It was almost 2000 years after the Great Pyramids were finished that Jews were first recorded in Egypt. And the people who built the Pyramids were paid, fed workers, taken from poor farming areas, as archeological evidence suggests.

is for emergencies, for when discussion has no meaning unless the source is reviewed, overuse cheats us out of bouncing ideas off of each other.
I have ZERO information about the Jews building the pyramids and all I know points to the contrary, so I needed the source before getting in too deep, our exchange was one where we both had points we agreed and disagreed on, then discussion can happen.

The difference between a slave and being a poor person contracted for a job wasnt as big in those days as in latter years. They might have been "volunteers" but being a "volunteer" meant something quite different than it does now.

Basically now when you are in debt you are a slave, but the Master cant even be arsed to put a roof over your head, clothe or feed you.
In OW slavery debt was a major reason to be enslaved for some years, and most people are being set up to get heavily in debt. But who provides for them? You're not being whipped, but threatened with loss of job and livelyhood, and the carrot of ever increasing luxury is dangled in front of your face to give you positive incentive.
Nowadays to go to college in most cases sets you up for getting deeply into debt, it didnt use to be like that.
Ironically in third world nations, the state tends to provide for (basic) education, all you need to pay for are the school uniform and study materials, public transportation is often free, and the like. Here (Dutch situation) you are fleeced on tuition fees and even the getting around on the bus costs more than having a car and driving it to your destination yourself.
I see it as a return to slavery under the guise of freedom.
I dont want to romanticize slavery because it was REALLY BAD, but comparing a good slavery with a bad freedom, whats worse, a corrective slap with a whip maybe once every two weeks or so if you are slacking, or constant threat of losing your shitty job and ending up in the gutter with your kids if you dont meet your daily quota.
Opinions on that differ. We all want to be free, but look in prisons where inmates have done many years, a lot of them are institutionalized and dont even mind prison life much anymore. The same occurred on plantations.

That still goes against the views of the modern world of the Jewish slavery in ancient Egypt. To me, it seems as if the Jews are complaining just a little too much about their plight.

We have other merits. If you look at my OD misadventure two weeks ago, three ambulance rides, intensive care at the ER, drugs the whole shebam, later on an extra cardiological assessment and NOT ONE BILL being shoved in my face.
That is VERY awesome, I cant imagine to live in the US where one health setback would put one in debt or maul ones savings.
How often do you see Shroomerites from the US with OD's or friends OD-ing, or with really worrisome health complaints, riding it out as long as they can because they CANT AFFORD MEDICAL CARE? We Europeans, Canadians and others where the state does a good job with healthcare look at that with deep concern and compassion. To us, thats inhumane.

One way or another we all pay for it in the end... None of our services are truly 'free'  Taxes in the Netherlands (depending on income) are quite a bit heavier than those in the US...
Though a good medical mishap or two in the US could easily set someone back several orders of magnitude more than they'll ever make.
Yet people here are extremely paranoid and irrational of anything that the opposing party could construe as 'socialist' (i.e. public health care..)
and I'm guessing at one time or another slaves, jews, robots, aliens... incans... they all built a pyramid or two

If the jews did build the pyramids, that would make sense why so many Illuminati symbols are in movies, maybe they are subliminally trying to take credit for their work but somebody else is suppressing that knowledge for a certain reason.

No that's exactly how I see it as well.  I no longer view purchases in terms of how much money they cost, but how much time I'll have to work at some shitty job to pay for them. Not too many material thangs make the Buy List anymore.
Thankfully, I am currently debt free and earning interest rather than paying it, boy does it  !
