having strange and unusual highs, needs explanation

i have been smoking weed for about a year now and i have enjoyed it up until i expierienced a very strange and unusual high about a month ago. i went into my yard at about midnight to meet up with a couple of my friends who had snuck out to come meet me, we went up into a small forest pulled out some chairs. my friend was using his bubbler to smoke out everyone except me, i had my own bubbler but i was smoking the same weed as them. i only took four hits and realized the high was coming on fast. at first it felt normal my eyes were heavy and i started laughing for no reason, eventually i stood up and stood next to my friend and we started talking and laughing together when i suddenly realized i wasn't next to him but i was actually behind him and i didnt remember how i got there. it didnt freak me out too much because i assumed it was a simple mistake but after a couple of minutes i noticed that i was becoming very confused and forgetful and unable to focus on anything, so i started panicking and breathing heavily. my friends became worried and asked me what was happening and i kept repeating "oh my god, what is happening? this is bad, this is really bad" my friends worried if i could get back to my house safely or not, so one of them grabbed my arm and said that it was ok and started walking towards my house but i pulled my arm away and said i had to go home. so i started walking back to my house while my friends watched me the whole way, i noticed that about every three or four steps i would tell myself "just foucs on getting to that door, nothing else" i was able to concentrate for about two seconds before my mind wandered off into nothing, i would then refocus my self and tell myself the same thing, but it kept happening over and over and over again, and was really starting to scare me.once i got inside all i wanted to do was go to my bed because i knew i would be safe there. it took me maybe about twenty minutes to put all my things away so my parents did not see it, but i eventually got into bed. once i was settled in my bed i put on my headphones and started listening to music this is when i realized that my entire body was twitching violently and my heart beat was racing faster than a regular high, and i was expieriencing closed eye hallucinations of the weirdest shit i could possibly think of, it was like a slideshow of very strange images, one after another. this went one for about two and a half hours before i finally fell asleep. when i woke up the next morning i came to the conclusion that it was laced with something but that couldnt be possible because none of my other friends expirienced anything unusual. from that point on, everytime i smoke i expierience the same feeling. can anybody explain why this is happening to me?

Just sounds like really strong weed. I've had experiences like that after smoking wayy too much. You got some really good shit. Try 1/2 a hit next time, wait 15 minutes, then go from there.

That sounds like good weed, also prolonged use leads your brain to react differently to thc. The brain can just ease off of using the parts of it that are most affected leading to very unfocused, very inexplainable, sedating trips. That usually wears off once it leaves your system, so maybe wait like three weeks if you're not comfortable with this kind of high

Yeah you were just really blazed. Does sound similar to JWH-018, but then again JWH-018 is similar to weed.

ya sorry about that im not a very good writer. but most of the weed i have been smoking lately is medical, and i know medical weed has more CBD's than THC, so do you think that could be the problem? And also if i stop for a couple weeks then smoke again, will i have the same reaction?
thanks for the help

You would probably experience stronger effects if you did that. Try building your tolerance instead.

Yeah, THC is where the paranoia and far out thoughts come from, CBD is where the body high and euphoria comes from.

Hey! You know how you wound up standing behind your friend when you thought you were next to him?
I do.
He turned 90 degrees.

Having not tried cannabinoids in a controlled experiment, people really aren't qualified to make such claims. 66 cannabinoids have been identified in marijuana for chrissake.

Marijuana experiences generally change for people after awhile, sometimes for the worse.
I don't smoke any longer as it makes me feel more depressed than receiving a phone call and telling me my wife has cancer but it won't be a problem because she slipped and broke her neck in the doctor's office.

I've seen a documentary where subjects were given pure THC in high doses and they experienced paranoia, unusual thought patterns, experiences of alternate realities concurrent with the "normal" one. While I agree that cannabis contains many cannabinoids at various levels of potency and with various effects, it's generally accepted that THC is responsible for the more drastic conciousness change, other cannabinoids play a part obviously, but THC is the cannabinoid that is usually in the highest concentration in the plant so it has the most effect. CBD is usually the second most common cannabinoid and has a less marked effect on consciousness and usually effects the body itself. Euphoria, muscle relaxation, etc etc.
