Over the last 15 years I have sold morels and mushroom artwork, of the the the last 3 prior years i have supported my family with the springs morel catch. just one of many things i do to make it possible for me to be at home with my family for most of the time. well any ways i am searching for any advice or ideas for the upcoming art festivals. besides selling morels fresh and dried, i have done chainsaw carvings, walking sticks, and necklaces all in morel motif, wood burnings beadwork and photography by my wife, well things that sell at art shows seems quite unpredictable and a fresh idea is what iam searching for. none the less i shall repeat what i did last season as it worked well.

cool stuff man. i don't have any brilliant ideas for upcoming art festivals. however, i do think a website could benefit you greatly if you don't already have one. it will provide you with an opportunity to make $ when festivals are not going on and act as a marketing tool to help move your product. you can print out business cards with the website on it which will in turn make more people aware of your business and upcoming events. something as easy as etsy.com might help you generate a little bit more $ and/or exposure. you can also set the website up to take custom orders which will generate even more business and help add to your product list. just a thought.
also, i'd be happy to do the design/setup for you for a morel inspired walking stick and necklace.

as for myc,,,well like morel spawn,,, to help grow your own,,, has anyone ever spawned morels from myc, it seems reasonable...
anyways thanks i will get some pics of my sticks and necklaces up for some review and ideas..

First off props to you for making a living off of the shrooms man. Would love to be able to do that!!
As for something different make other mushrooms in the same way (like a cluster of honey mushrooms or a stool shaped like the classic mushroom, by the way I bought one at big lots or someplace for like $40.00, put a little cookbook together of your favorite mushroom recipies and or your personnel hunting, drying, preserving methods. Man the list goes on! Do you ship them? If you do - do you Hook up your shroomery brothers and sisters! haha Take one of your cool photos and blow it up and throw a cheap frame on it and sell that too. Cut up a few logs and inoculate it with shitake sell log (good selling point is that they are good for years to come)
So what do you sell the morels for?
