It's only been a few days but I don't see ANY signs of life

I nocked up my jars thursday and now it's sunday. I know it's supposed to take a while to finish, but I don't see any kind of signs that ANYTHING is growing there. It just looks like when I started with the verm/rice mix.
I ordered from sporeworks and got Ecuador strain if it matters.
Anyways, just wondering if I should wait longer. There is absolutely no sign of life in any of the jars.

patience man, three days is the very minimum time to see sign. give it a few more days and i am sure you Will see something. I usually dont see anything to late the 4Th day up to the seventh day. after about 9 to 10 days i would start to worry

Okay cool, thanks. Are there strains that grow faster than others? I'd be willing to sacrifice potency for speed if that was be the case.

I recently did my first 10 jars in two batches (Cambodian). The first batch took 7 days to show growth and the second took 9.
Good luck

Some strains do colonize faster in certain different types of materials. I think there's a thread or archive about this, probably search the site for strain listings.
GTs in .75 pint jars take about a month to colonize through BRF and verm ime.

PR's are very very aggressive colonizers but your doing MS so its like chucking a handful of change into a bucket and trying to guess which coins went in...you could get a fast or slow colonization rate

Don't freak out yet. I am doing my first grow and it took like a week and a half to see ANYTHING happen inside my jars. Now they are almost ready to be taken out after like just over a month (Less than ideal temperature slowed it down some I think)
I'd wait like two weeks before I got concerned. Then again I'm not an expert this is my first grow.

Excerpt: " Imagine if I told you that you could use the alphabet but only from G to V. That sounds ridiculous right? Then why is it okay to live our lives within the parameters others set? There is an entire world of experience that we are being denied." Read it, let me know what you think, PM me.
