hey there fellow botanical enthusiast. well its that time of the year that we all love and wait for patiently. the time when thangs are in bloom and all that hard work from the previous monthes start to develop and progress into something special. heres some shots of my tiny backyard and a few of the treasures ive acquired with time. its nothing too amazing, but to me these are my babies and id love to hear what a few of yall think
here we go
took this one today. its most of the pap. somniferum var. peonyflorum. or as i call them "pink puff balls" unfortunately a LOT OF the poppies got stunted this year, but whatever im happy regardless. i almost lost the whole crop several times in the last month or so, so im happy with whastver i can get

close up of a pink puffball poppy

these are some tiny little tazzies, that bolted up quicked than i was hoping they would. the blooms were semi-decent looking but unfortunately they lost their petals pretty quick

more of the pinkies. i like this one because it has featured in it, my chianti sunflower with its stunning redish/golden blooms. ill try and dig up a few better pics of these flowers later in the thread if i can find them

close up of both the sunflower and another pinky. this does the sunflower a bit more justice to its beauty

this is my absolute baby girl ive had thispine tree for close to 4 years now. i hope to one day plant her in a nice place where reforestation is needed. tho i love her so much that ill have togo thru a massive screening process before i ever let her go. maybe shell be planted on my grave.... that i could live with she doesnt look like much, but she is hands down the coolest plant iver ever grown. if only she would grow a little faster!!!

heres my unknown oak tree. maybe a few of u old hands could identify it for me??? i think its a white oak or a pin oak but im not sure. had her for maybe 2-3 years too. up until just recently, she was all bones and i never really cared for her. i often thought of just planting her in the woods and getting her outt of my backyard.... but now shes put on some meat and have gotten to become very bushy. so with that being the case, ima keep her around for a whale

heres some gardenia pics i took at night. i love how fragrent these babies are! right now there are only a few of these, but the bush they grow on is over 6 feet, so when that fucker goes intofull bloom, ill be sure to share some pics as it is a stunning sight..... and smell too

heres a quick shot of some of the trich's. the left and middle are from the same plant. the smaller container is a branch that broke off of the other one and i replanted it into another specimen. those are san pedro, whereas the one on the right is a brigesii. theres another tiny bridgessi in the back too, but u cant reallysee it too well. ill post some more pics of some of the non-active cacti later in the thread.

last pic for now. this is a pic of the sunflower when it started to bloom. unfortunately i only had this one plant or 2, and it went into bloom waaay early. the thing literally only had 2 or 3 sets of leaves on it before the buds began to form.nevertheless it still got pretty tall in height and it also pumped out a few nice blooms as well. heres one of the good ones

well thats it for now. i have a few more pics id love to share, but i gotta post them later. daddy needs a cigarette and maybe a bowl of opium later gators

thanks dawg. heres the second batch
heres a flick of my florida anise plant. the thing finally started to put on some new leaves, after month and month of doramncy. i love the smell of the crushed leaves

i took these few monthes ago... but heres a flick of a cactus i have in my backyard, i have no idea what it is but its huge and these are some of its blooms. they only flower at night for a few hours and then the blooms close p and die by morning. they are gorgeous flowers but its a nightmare trying to get a good pic of them in absolute darkness. heres the far shot flick

a close up

another one.i like this one a lot

this is a closed bud with a local mantis chilling out

aloe vera is always a good thing to have close by

this was taken a while ago, and im not currently growing any datura metal right now, but ive always loved how beautiful these poisonous purple flowers can be

pumpkin blooms that never made it to full blown pumpkins. gorgeous flowers nonetheless tho

another favorite of mine. mullien! it took almost a year for this plant to go into bloom, but when it did the flowers were there to stay for quite sometime. the fragrence is subtle yet awesome. reminds me of a hint of lemons and something else that i cant put my finger on.does anyone else have a good description of their fragrence, theyd like to share? u can smell the light lemon smelltho right? yummy.

last one for now. this is just a pink rose photo that i took a while back.i like to photograph roses and thought maybe yall might enjoy it.

ill be back with a few others that i forget to put down today. hope u enjoyed the show

thanks man, i appreciate the love
heres the last wave of photos for a while. i kno a few of u will enjoy these, even if u hated the rest of my flicks
one more gardenia pic for u

a shot of one of my daylilly blooms

last pinky shot i promise

unknown badass cactus i have. an ID would be awesome if u know what it is. i cloned this cactus into like 15 new plants and they all took root in a matter of a week-3 weeks. i have them all clumped together and hopefully one day theyll all be massive and knuckly like this mother beast....

heres my stunted yet chill myrtillo geometrizen (sp?, im prob waay off on that one). i got htis at walmart or homedepot years and years ago, and never had the heart to get rid of it. its nothing impressive but hopefully one day itll catch up for lost time oh yea, if u look hard enough u can see a little tiny bridgesii in the right hand side of the pic

last sunflower pic too. yea I kno im beating this into the ground i just cant get enough of them! next year im groeing at least 10 of these, hopefullly along with some other types of sunflowers too

i would love a cactus ID on this one too guys. this is what i suspect to be a cereus, tho i dunno what type it is. its the same beast that had those gorgeous white-night blooms from the previous post i made. what do u think it is??? whatever it is, the fucker is massive. if only my pedros were so large, id be one happy man

another one of the same mystery cactus....

okay this one is blurry as hell, but i milked it just for u guys, so hopefully u can see what i was trying to do with this one. this starts the sticky and nastey pictures im sure u fiends will enjoy

this was a part of an afternoon treat i gave myself earlier. tho unfortunately i didnt have the right pipe to enjoy it in, i still made out pretty relaxed i gotta invest in an oil pipe soon tho

opium in the mist

heads up johnny! sap is falling from the sky!

last shot of that bitter latex

and to close out with an old pic from when i got down with trees tho its been a while. strain unknown. if i remember it was just bagseed. sweet shit tho

well im out of pictures for now its been nice shroomers. thanks for looking at my pics. lemme kno what u think, id love some feedback

Your huge unknown cactus looks like Hylocereus sp. to me. Not sure which species but more prickly than most. Do you ever get fruit?
This one is a variegated Opuntia sp. Cool looking cactus.

Nice plants I think the unknown cacti might be a Selenicereus it doesn't look like a grandiflorus but there are many types.
Cheers Got

Cool garden Lipa! It's been a while since we've had a decent garden shown on the boards so thanks for taking the time to post your garden for us all.
Your Pink puff balls are fully gay but in a good way.
Sunflowers are also good value. I tried to grow some of the same ones as yours but the freakin' snails wouldn't leave them be so I gave up. Maybe next year....
Your oak is interesting and one I'm not familiar with. It has some cool forked leaves though and would be nice to know what it is.
If you gave your pine a huge pot it will grow a little faster. If put in the ground it would be as tall as a house in 5 or so years.
Looks like naum has the cactus id's covered. I'm sure it's a Hylocereus of sorts as well.

awesome thanks for the info in the cactus ID's. ive been curious for a while. yea i love that one with all the pear shaped branches.... the pups have pups and before u kno it, its got 100's of new branches growing on it. if i have s ource to buy baby cactus off of it, i could make a fortune! def one of the easiest plants to propagate. yea karode im totally gay for my poppies! esp the pink ones theres a strain out there thats purplish black with the puffball style and ivebeen wanting to cross them for ever. maybe next season i can work something cool up eh
thanks for checking out the show guys and gals
