I am an organ donor. All organs. I'm not afraid to die early on my death bed so someone else can live.

do you mean that you were in a vegetable state with about a 1% chance of coming out and you organs were literally being kept alive by a breathing/feeding machine. You could have the ability to save a child or anyone that had the ability at a longer more fulfilling life then the one you are experiencing in a non responsive state in your bed you would rather have your organs sits there and waste away in your body then provide for someone else in their time of need?
even then, they can't legally do that, they need to have some sort of permission to do it

yea i know they have to have permission i was talking on the assumption that someone who was in authority over his health decisions was acting with the doctor to save the life of the random person. i really didn't consider a doctor going " well the boy in the next bed need this dying mans kidney lets kill him before someone notices and keep things moving"

There has been cases like that in the same sense there have been cases of doctors winning the lottery. Im sure it happens, but not often enough to stop me from giving the gift of life. 99.99% doctors would try to keep someone alive, even if only for a short time, over getting other patients organs.

Not only are they legally obligated, but in cases where they do pull you off life support for organs, it doesn't matter if you're an organ donor or not it will happen.

Exactly, i agree, the the fact your a donor will not influence the actions of a doctor who has to worry about malpractice suits that can destroy the career they worked for years to obtain.
In any case you should have your affairs in order. At the very least tell a close friend exactly what you would want to happen in the event something were to happened.
