I saw Paul Stamets awarded a HUGE fomitopsis officinalis at the medicinal mushroom conference in 2008 :eek: . fantastic conk.

I did not pick any of them. I plan on contacting Paul to see if he has any interest in adding this culture to his collection of 58 strains.

It seems funny that I found my first true Agarikon just two days after shaking Stamets' hand...

I contacted Paul Stamets and will be taking him to this location for a tissue sample to clone and add to his genomic library this Summer.
