yea welcome to the shroomery man. its good to hear from someone who knew kipp. based on what u wrote, he sounded like a very deep and intelligent person. i respecdt his indifference to the other side, tho its still a shame a 19 year old man killed himself. i guess it was done in a very interesting manner and he will likely be remembered for such, yet i bet old kipp couldve contributed more to the world if he hung in there a bit longer and couldve given the world more to remember him by.
this is a shame. was he a talented musician? i cant believe he stabbed himself to death, multiple times! that is hardcore, i couldnt kill myself like that. i fi were to go, itd be from jumping off a bridge or a building or maybe a gunshot. but i couldnt bring myself to stab myself in the chest several times

BEND -- Police in central Oregon say a 19-year-old man performed a song he introduced as "Sorry for the Mess" at a coffee house "open microphone" event, then fatally stabbed himself in the chest.
Lt. Chris Carney says patrons at Bend's Strictly Organic Coffee rushed to help Kipp Rusty Walker on Thursday night and police and medics arrived quickly. But the young man died at St. Charles Medical Center from multiple stab wounds.
Carney says Walker used a double-edged knife with a 4- to 6-inch-long blade. Police reports indicate the crowd of 10 to 15 was clapping as Walker finished his keyboard performance. When patrons saw him hitting his chest, Carney said they initially thought that was part of his act -- until they saw blood.
Coffee shop co-owner Rhonda Ealy tells KTVZ that "people at first thought it was some sort of theater."

did he do hallucinogens? a lot of what he said is commonly posted in "the psychedelic experience" section of the forum; albeit in different wording.
i totally see where he was coming from, but i dont think that would push me to kill myself. im not curious enough about dieing to experience it. (as im fairly certain its identical to the billions of years before i was born.... immense amounts of absolute nothingness which cant even be experienced... how boring....)
right? it won't be bad, but it sure as hell won't be good, and I wanna live for the good

But what do i know, im just a human, with a very limited understanding of the universe and how it works. lol. In any case im pretty excited, to either take the last step and be done, or to find out if theres some new shit after this life shit, be it what i would consider "good" or "bad" in my current living state. Haha. Anyway, "cyadude"..."
the song was not called sorry for the mess it was just some made up song on the spot that he played on the piano.
So you watched your friend kill himself? You know all the lyrics yet it was a song he made up on the spot?

Yeah I knew him fairly well, and yeah we have both forayed into the realm of psychedelics.
There's a chance it had something to do with his mindset, but its saved my life and probably postponed his death.

this happened a few weeks ago already. didn't i already post this actually?
well, no matter. pretty crazy, the guy actually stabbed himself multiple times. it's hard to believe that someone can do that, you'd think after the first plunge they would be rendered on the ground not able to move, amazing he actually stabbed himself multiple times.

He seems like he would have been a cool guy to know. He thinks a lot like I do, but I still wouldn't kill myself to experience death. You only live once, and it's over, so why end it any sooner before you've experienced all you can?
