Where it comes to your drug of choice, which cat are you?

Stolen directly from the Caturday thread to pose a meaningful question.
The threadmill of course is symbolic for your drug of choice, the way the cats play with it stands for the two basica approaches you can have to its use.

I guess im the cautious cat too. The cautiousness here could be argued against tho. Is it defined by running steady or jumping on and off? With drugs the ladder would seem to be less of a parallel to a steady addiction, but could also mean poor judgement in dosage. One could mean the other depending on how you look at it. Gotta take variability in outlook and personality and compulsivity into account.

I guess it all depends on the drug for me.
With some things I am cautious and I take my time, feeling the chemical out.
Other things, like opiates, I am full tiger blood Wild Cat status.

hmmm.
im currently at like 2-3 months of use of my current DOC (2c-e) but i think i mostly go with the crazy cats approach, with a kind of mix of the cautious cat.
caution before i actually tried it... reading, questioning, etc. general gathering of knowledge... as to avoid ending up like the idiot who recently snorted a line of it and killed himself. ( im still emotionally bothered by the fact that its about to be scheduled...)
then i kinda tested it out on the low speed once i actually had it... and now im ridin it as fast as it goes (within the limits of responsibility, of course)
mushrooms (when they were my DOC) were kinda like... i went ape shit with them. i started growing them and pretty much went from "tripping is a rare and special thing" to "WEEEEEEEEE ENDLESS SUPPLY! I DONT EVEN KNOW WHO I AM RIGHT NOW!!!!!!! WHAT YEAR IS IT ANYWAY???!!!"
so i guess on the whole im the crazy cat; but i try to keep the insanity working for me in a controlled manner as opposed to not really knowing what im doing/getting myself into.
its worked out damn well so far.

Huhmm, psy's and more of the wild cat. Unless it is a new one for me and then I have to get my bearings first.
Dammit I voted wrong, first time I did LSD would have been 20 years ago next month may 27. So I am a vet. Fuck, time flies.

Sometimes I give my drugs direction but especially with psychedelics I find it best to just let go and let it take me wherever it'll go naturally, be it sincere awesomeness or the ungodliest clusterfuck of all time.
I've had trips that rival in atrociousness the two times now I've been fighting for my life for real at Accidents & Emergencies.
And you know what? Those really really bad trips when you feel you die or go insane.. Those REALLY are helpful when you have to fight for your life IRL.
I had a massive heart attack (2002) and a 60-fold MDPV OD (last week) and those symbolic "Ego Death" trips are strikingly, STRIKINGLY similar to what you'll face in real life when you give it all you got at the ER.
If I hadnt gone to pieces on ego death trips before, I am SURE that my capers at the ER would have been far more difficult and emotionally damaging.
So my previous bad trips really helped at holding it together when my life was on the line. If you'll ever find yourself in the ER in a dire state, you'll find that out. Being a tripper who has learned to handle intense emotional turmoil helps in such cases.
So strengthen your ego and give trips direction, but also let your ego go to bits and get in the really rough rides, cause later in life, at some point when you need it most, that will pay off.
