I know Super Mario71 personally. He left one important thing out of his post above.
Be careful in DeKalb county. He said one of our old spots (that has dried up considerably in the past few years) was being watched from afar by a c0p with binoculars.
Be cautious and use your head, guys.
On another note:

This was the result of HOURS of cleaning these:

Happy hunting! Let's hope the frost doesn't roll in too quickly!

A fare warning!! If you are not experienced with weilii,1 educate yourself about them.If you know what your looking for their will be no question about your find. The characteristics are unique.2 they are not for the inexperienced. You might loose your mind and freak the fuck out.I seen this a few times and once again last night.

Dude,if you are eating 16gs at a time you are wasting them.3gs will send your ass sideways.I'm sorry,I have not figured out how to post pics yet,the Atlantis have a much thinner stem. The color is almost like oak I guess with bruising and they don't get to big, about 4 cm across the cap.

Last night was amazing.I did 3gs of weilii and 2 fresh wet Atlantis.I wish I could describe my visuals. When I closed my eyes the rainbows of colors and warping patterns was freaking unbelievable. If I could only recreate that into a tiedye,,that would be one bad ass shirt.

I found these in an area that you could tell had been mulched some years ago, with red clay underneath and loblolly pines all around. I've found some near this area before, but they weren't quite this color and had that unmistakable smell, whereas these lacked that odor. They bruised blue and had the hard, stringy stems though. I'm almost 95% sure these are the real deal, but some reassurance would be nice. Spore prints are in the works now.
Also, any tips on storing these babies? I've never tried keeping my finds before now.

I haven't had anything substantial to show at all this season or last season. The year before that, when we had the huge floods, was so ridiculous everything since then has seemed dead. I don't know if everyone is now finding less or if I just raped all my patches but I can't find shit. I don't think I ruined the spots though since I barely even picked 1/3rd of what I saw.
Is everyone else finding considerably fewer weilii the past few years since the floods or is it just me and my patches that are suffering?

Nope man I am right there with you. Last year was horrible for me. This year has been a little better but not much. I have been wondering the same thing as you though. In 2009 everything went nuts, but since then they haven't fruited the same again (in my spots anyways, we're finding decent numbers but nothing like 09.)

Weiliigod, I feel ya. '09 was nuts. Last year I found next to nothing. Go north and hunt for some new spots. It took me a good while, but I had to start really traveling this year for the scores.

I had an ok year last year,I've already blown 09 out of the water.Even though I found in places in 09 that I have not seen a single 1 in since.I'm a north Ga.landscaper and that gives me an edge because I'm in these peoples yards on a weekly basis.

Well looks like maybe it's a little tougher than previous years. Here is some stuff I found this weekend. Once again, I brought them home and thought I struck gold. Now I have second thoughts, if these are them there are plenty left. The problem is some lady saw me from her back yard. The trail is a part of the county park and on the end of the woodland trail is one of those powerline situations that lead up to some residential houses. So I am not to sure why she seemed so concerned, we weren't even near her property.
I hope these are them or an active they bruise dark in some areas, I really can't say they bruised blue. I am willing to except another failure. If they look poisonous I need to properly dispose of them to prevent any accidents. These pictures are 36 hours after collection, I couldn't get any pictures until then.
