Originally from Holland and Belgium, but spread out all over the world cause lets face it, its awesome.
A song you know, but now made awesome
party, party
You get the picture! You can either bitch about it or hook us up to great hardstyle tunes, theres no middle road in this thread.

I love goa trance, but this seems a little contrived for some reason. I do kind of like the "ha ha ha" song that that kid's dancing to.

I gave it an honest go. Psy-trance is as close to this as I'll get.

Not a fan of the hardstyle/hardcore. Hardtek I can enjoy at a party, but I couldn't listen to at home. But I will admit that there are some occasions where an unrelentingly pounding beat is all you need:
Guigoo - Rastoo Man (ragga hardtek)
But really, it doesn't get much better than psytrance...
Crazy Astronaut ft. Kindzadza - Slam

I previously loved hardstyle but the whole 'Lad' 'gabber/jumpstyle' dance scene has ruined it for me.
Seriously, have you seen those lame ass dance moves?

I'll stick to electro and electro- house.

that dancing video was lulzy. I was kinda shocked you said that before i saw the video though, in NYC the hardstyle people have had dancing locked down for years. i haven't been able to find any of it on youtube. i've been out of the party scene for a long time now, i don't know if its changed.
also if we're going to critique dancing, lol, house people dance as gay as the music is. electro is one of the two tolerable styles of house, but only because it steals bass from better genres.

HARDTEK FRENCHCORE TEKNO PARTYHARDY
The Dutch know what's up when it comes to tekno, can't get enough of all the parties I travel to every weekend
Johnny sideways - find a way
Hardstyle is okay but I don't really like the synthesizers used and the kick doesn't do it at times.
duracell(dissolvement, rotterdam) . it's not always fast-paced though, imo. (hardtek/tekno)

hrm, i don't mind hardcore/hardstyle, it's nice music to listen to, for example...when you're at the gym and you want to keep a steady nice pace during cardio. otherwise, listening to some of the stuff MCs say during live sets is about as equal to the absurdity they spew out in HHC songs...
but, i'm somewhat put into the position of having to watch past festival videos by people i know and the productions look pretty spectacular as far as narrow genre music festivals go.
so this year, defqon1 will be my first real up close experience of the hardcore/hardstyle scene. willing to give it a try, but more excited about being able to replenish my mayonaise, cheese and stroopwafel stash.
