Different moods, different times, different financial times.  What is your favorite while imbibing?:ifyoucanawe:

If I'm relaxing its beer, if i'm partying its liquor/beer, if i'm fucked up with a small group of friends and we've consumed everything else then out comes the wine.

Those kegs aren't worth the beers, though. You'd be better off buying a pack of bottles.

Also, beer! Hefeweizen

It's always good to be flexible, I'd agree, but's it's so easy to overdo the hard liquor in certain situations unless you have that off switch to women and peer pressure-EXTREMES-I don't have that off switch so I have taken myself out of most of those situations.:frown:

Depends on the situation, but I generally prefer wine.  It's great with a meal, feels classy, and has a bit more of an intimate feel.  On the other hand, there's nothing better on a hot summer day than a nice, cold bottle of beer.  I don't generally drink hard liquor, but if there's a bottle of whiskey being passed around, I'm not above taking a nip off of it.

Yea I see what you mean, but theres a certain vibe to fresh carbonated beer and the sweetness of mini keg beer, bottles and cans taste jaded after you've tried the mini kegs

Your also probably right on the amount/capacity in regards to cans but hey I always come back to the keggy vibe I like

Ahhh..yes, I know that keggy feeling. The feeling of knowing you can get massive brain damage in a night of extreme drinking and then cure whatever problems you may encounter in the morning.

Speaking of which, my buddy is flying down near the end of the month. UFC + KEG :drooling: I wonder who will win, Shields or GSP?

If I have to choose one, a glass of whiskey.
Add a little ice, and it's good in the summer.
Or drink it neat in the winter.

Got a 30L keg of Wred Wheat on tap, picked it up from a local brewery which is in a old hangar in the what used to be military barracks nearly in the center of the city, they've got a restaurant/bar in the front with the brewery open to look at in the back. Pretty cool guys, but its the beer im there for

I'm a beer dude....

A few strong & hearty IPAs (real beer) through out the night and I'm good. I'm generally a light weight and despise getting drunk, so a few beers through out the night does it for me. With beer I can catch a nice buzz, and keep it at the level I like to be at easily through out the night.

I will occasionally take a few shots, but I have expensive taste when it comes to hard alcohol....and pretty much anything for that matter :smirk:.

ALL IPA's taste the same, except some aren't so dry and leave that lingering taste in your mouth. I gotta say, they do melt your face though sometimes.

Mmmm I dunno man, I mean they do have that same general super hoppy flavor with a bitter finish. But there's so many subtle differences & variations from brew to brew, so many different flavors come through...Pine, Carmel, Mango, Toffee, Citrus, Pineapple, grass....

I just love really flavorful beers :yesnod:...

Hard liquor is my favorite. It's easy to just chug some out of the bottle and get fucked up in literally 2 minutes.

Crown Royal & Jack D are my favorites.

There's no fun in that, though. Especially when you first started out drinking and constantly blacking out.

It's hard to throw up on beer..for me at least and beer tastes awesome, I can't gag on it like I do with liquor.

Yup, that's another reason I like beer. The only time I've thrown up from beer is from sheer volume, not the alcohol, beer bongs or drinking games will do it.

But I'm just about over that shit, I just want to drink my beer...

Natty's IMO are OK.  But you're going to extremes with the everclear and Popov (if I spelled that right).  There was a co-worker who put everclear in his windshield wiper fluid box to spray out while he was working at a grocery store to get a drink and my brother loved the ingenuity. But who am I to talk?  I drank Bartons but never will again. Like i"m a fucking alcohol guru, drink and enjoy the night.:awesomenod:

I'm not a huge drinker but I have an appreciation for a good drink.

At a party, I'm the girl doing shots while nursing a beer.

I really have grown to enjoy straight whiskey but don't drink it often.

I love a good wine with a good meal.

I enjoy a good beer every once in a while, too, but my boyfriend made the best homemade beer a couple years ago. I'm spoiled. Nothing else really compares.

You're drinking tastes are similar to mine. you should tell your boyfriend to try making wine and mead too. I've been making my own beer, wine, mead and liquor for a few years now and rarely buy alcohol unless I'm somewhere that you can't bring your own.
