Re-injection with stalling jars

SWIM has four jars with a certain Cambodian strain. They were inc'ed 18 days ago. 2 jars are about 75% the other two roughly 20%...There doesn't appear to be any contamination.
Is it possible to re-inject these jars to help them finish? This was his first time and he believe he did not inject enough spores to start.
Despite looking I couldn't find one answer and the answers I did find were very mixed. The two jars at about 75% have been like that for about 4 days now, which is why I am looking at re-injection.
Ideas?

I wouldn't. If there's already mycelium in there, shake the jar. From what I've heard if it doesn't start colonizing again, it was contaminated to begin with.

You can re-inoculate, no problem! But the newly injected material will interfere with the already colonized part and take a while. Sometimes they don't grow together and the older one tries to fruit in the jar :/

So is that a vote to not re-inoculate? Or just that there is a bit of a risk with the idea?

I'd say just shake, don't waste your spores lol but if you killed your spores on the way in like I have before, not letting the needle cool before injection, that you'd probably want to give them another shot.

Oddly enough, about three days ago, the shelf they were on broke causing the jars to fall to the ground...they were well shaken after that...lol
Point being, there appears to be some new bright white growth. Its myc as it has the classic ropey look to it..
If it continues to take forever could he birth them cut out the 25% that isnt covered and case them? He'd of course wait at least a week to take such action..
I suggest that not to be impatient but to limit the chance of infection..

You can case pretty well from fucky myc. I'd say that'd be the best choice, but trying to fruit an incomplete cake is like trying to bring a headless man back to life with shock paddles lol

Alright. Then thats what he'll do...
Wait a week to see what happens with the new growth and make a decision from there..
