Hey Boxy Brown, where you from? All the wannabe gangstas, and real gangstas say that all the time where I used to live! I used to live in the general area as gumby.

orlando, lots of fakes here, although i love my groups of friends, i never hang around the gangster crowds too much, i like being around trippers/naturalists.
i could honestly say my reality is quite heavenly. i just thought of this shit this morning hearing my friend say "minute" thinking shes cool by saying it.

Yeah that shit irks me too. I find the "for a minute" bullshit seems to be common in hood/ghetto environments, where people try to blend in but they fail horribly. A better way to put it is the places where the thug mentality permeates into even college kids from a rich family (AKA Newark college scene[yes, there is one]). I find Indians and Muslim kids do it the most in my area.

Example:
"I haven't heard this jam in a minute, dawg."

Then they start mixing bro shit with ghetto speak:
"Nigga, I haven't seen yo ass for a minute bro. Where u been? Wuts good? Dawg u wearing a new cologne, what is that shit? Smells fresh yo."

Shut the fuck up. You haven't heard the song in along time and haven't seen me for a while... and why the fuck are you asking me about how I smell? Dumb motherfuckers, you're not hood, quit acting like an idiot. It doesn't get you any kid of cred, it makes you look like a fake tard.

What really grinds my gears is when people say..    "It is what it is"

Also the "minute" slang and "just Sayin" thing  are great  gear grinders as mentioned above.

Oh and..  "real talk"

REAL TALK

SO fucking stupid

Saying that implies that whenever you don't specify with "REAL TALK DERP", what you're saying is fake talk

When I have to explain something several times. Greedy people. Stupid politics. Ignorance. Backsplash from toilets.

Not receiving grattitude when you should be appreciated.

BSOD

When mp3 ears or earphones start working on one side and then only work when you hold the input and the wire in a certain way :yuno:

Small talk

Protip: The trick is to rock back and fourth when you have those little turds that make the kerplunk right into your butthole so that the splashback misses the mark.

"It is what it is" doesn't bother me, the expression makes sense. It's a quicker or more simplistic way of saying "If I could change it I would, but I really can't, so I'm sorry" or "I'd really appreciate it if you could be there/do this, but if you can't I understand." It's useful for the sake of brevity; people just know what you mean when you say it.

And the "Just sayin" thing... It's a quirky way of saying something assholish/taboo/out there thing but not saying it in a dick way. It's useful.

"it is what it is" is what purveyors of bunk drugs say when a potential customer inquires about the quality of the product.
