I don't know, I just thought the picture looked really neat so I figured I would share it with you guys. My first LC jar about 6 days in. Made with MS Treasure Coast and light corn syrup.

Seems like there should be a little house, with a tree next to it. That way the snow has something to fall on.

Well this is my first LC so I'm traveling off of others knowledge and trial and error. I have 2 BRF 1/2 pint jars ready right now, so I think I am going to try this out on them tomorrow. That will have given it a full week of colonization time. I figure the growth inside a LC will grow no matter what. The more it colonizes in the liquid, the less time it will take to colonize on your substrate. Although even if you have little tiny pieces of mycelium in your liquid, it should, in theory, still colonize a cake.

I made my first LC about 4 months ago and I've never looked back to spores since.
I was somewhat intimidated to try out my first LC after reading countless threads about contam issues. Haven't had a contam yet after 3 different LC's as well as a LC to LC transfer. I took the remaining 10cc's or so of my first LC and inoculated a brand new LC with it. Worked out great.
About to PC a new LC jar to make a penis envy LC with the syringe I just got from SporeWorks.
Looks good.

Yeah lmao, just try and give it a good shaking.. Also in the future add marbles or pieces of broken glass to your jars that way when you shake or stir your jars it helps break up the big thick chunks..
I personally use stir bars and a stir plate..

yeah put marbles in your jar and give it a good shake, see how that works out for ya. honestly though that is a nice pic. LC is much better than spores though.
