swim is what kiddies type because they think that by saying it's someone other than them, they aren't confessing to a felony. either they're dumb enough to think a cop would believe that, or they're worried that their parents will read it and ground them.
either way, it makes me not want to help them. especially if they say they're following a tek and have done a lot of research, but ask questions that i've read the answer to a thousand times in the seven months that i've been reading this forum.

Your photo doesn't seem to show the holes in the tub. Really sorry if I came off as an ass to you. I was just trying to be helpful and I didn't think that you were being open to the advice this board was offering.
Your holes need to be bigger. I'd say 2, 2in. holes on the bottom of each of the tub's long sides, just above the substrate, and 1, 2 in hole at the top of the tub's short sides. All of them filled with polyfill.

First off, CONGRATS on getting them this far! Not bad for a 1st grow. lots of pins too, very nice. That means your FC was excellent at first. It does appear to be a little dry now tho. Also, I can see the polyfill in several holes, although it appears that some of the holes do not have any. It's kinda hard to see everything that's going on from the pic. Can't wait to see how they turn out.

If your sub still seems dry, you should continue misting and fanning. If you've fixed the holes, then after a while (when the sub is rehydrated) you can just let the tub do its thing.
Also, you should dunk for 24 hours after you harvest the first flush (you probably knew that already.) But after you dunk, then the polyfill will regulate the humidity properly and you probably won't have to mist anymore. Just make sure there's a fan in the room to keep the fae high enough.

Agreed. I probably wouldn't mist more for risk of contams. Rehydrate after the first flush. I never misted mine. I used an aquarium air pump in a bottle of H202/H20/polyfill and everything was pretty automated. I would leave for a week at a time and come back only to harvest.
