would this work for a fc
    #14289448 - 04/14/11 11:12 AM (12 years, 10 months ago)

so im not going into a big scale operation here untill i get the hang of thangs, only 1 cake(maby up to 3) rotation for now. this had been running for 3 days now(still needs a nother inch of hydroton tho.

it had a hole in it already from the plastic bending and buckling but it is all sealed but that 1/4 in spot. would this be enough for the FAE considering the pump is running. or should i put in another hole on the top that is 1/4 in.

Are you using a bubble bottle?  I used one once before and left it alone inside a 20 gallon tote for 7 days before coming back.  The tote didn't have any holes on it and there was a huge harvest ready to be plucked.  I think you should be fine as is, the trick is to make sure the condensation on the inside of the FC doesn't stay sedentary; or still.  You want to see it dripping down and then reforming if at all.  That way, you know the air will be moving fluidly.  Your already getting a constant fresh supply if you are using a pump.

im thinking that if this is how it runs in 65 degrees it would be fine in the 75ish range. no i use that bottle to tell the temp cos it is an aquarium thermometer inside of it filled with water. no bubble cup the 2 air stones are under the 4in of hydroton with 3in of water.

Anything can work for a fruiting chamber as long as there is sufficient space, humidity and FAE.

Also, make sure to clean everything up.

Good luck

will do ty.
