This one time I dropped acid at night with a bunch of friends and was so completely geschtokenflopped. I was the only person willing to try and start a fire in my pit, but I just couldn't wrap my mind around it. Not having a flash-light didn't help, but even after I had all the tools and ingredients for the fire I just couldn't manifest it.
Reminds me....
The very first time a buddy and I took LSD we went camping. We could not get the fucking lantern lit. We tried all sorts of goofy methods, he even called his dad at one point mid-trip asking him how to light the lantern. He was explaining it to us over the phone, but still, it was not happening....It didn't help that we found the entire situation hilarious and were having a fit laughing while trying to figure it out, this went on for 20 minutes at least before we finally said fuck it....

I really hate the myth that this movie is based on. We do not only use 20% of our minds. We use all of it, just at different times and for different things. There is no hidden super-human potential waiting to be unlocked. Your mind is like any other part of your body, if you don't exercise it, it's going to be weak.

NOEZ, the 90% of our brain that we don't use is full of quantum cells and chi that you can use to bend spoons with your MIND!!

I don't understand what this movie is supposed to have in common with LSD or any PSY for that matter RP.
There was nothing psychedelic about the movie and I have never heard of a drug that has the affects that where presented in this movie.
Anyways I just watched it last night and it was a pretty cool flick. Definitely recommend it.

The ending of the movie was AWFUL. They don't resolve anything.
And to OP, how does it have ANYTHING to do with psychedelics? I just don't even remotely see the connection. This drug makes you a god. Psychedelics humble you. It's the total opposite.

Never seen the movie. Just things I heard about it reminded me of my own psychedelic experiences. Such as being able analyzing every possible aspect to promote the best out come of a situation. When I'm on low to moderate doses of psychs I find my mind and senses to be enhanced to higher potentials allowing me to see deeper detail in all situations of life, and allows me to thoroughly examine all my options.Psychs induce my mind to see and understand things with a more clear open mind than usual.
Im not saying everything psychedelic is like limitless, Im only comparing it to a small portion of the psychedelic world.
were all different people in different lives effected by chemicals differently. what may be for me may not be for you. I do apologize though for I never seen the movie and may have miss understood it.
I also see how pointless this thread is, Ive learned not to post on shroomery when I'm frustrated.

they can definitely give lots of insight into one's own psyche and inner brain workings but nothing that can't be achieved through meditation and self-reflection
as timothy leary said they can be used like microscopes to facilitated in introspection and the study of one's own mental components
or something along those lines
