Is This Ready To Fruit? (Pics)
    #14286362 - 04/13/11 08:10 PM (12 years, 9 months ago)

I spawned wbs to this tray of coco coir on April 2nd. It's been in an incubator running 80-83F. I took these pics a few moments ago:

My question is, am I ready to put this tray into the FC? Also, what's everyone's opinion - should I leave it in the tray, or remove it?
Thanks for reading, I'm looking forward to hearing what you guys think.

And turn down the temp. Room temperature is fine, better even.

Ah.. ok will do. The sudden temperature change wouldn't cause a shock to the mycelium would it?

Sounds like I should give it a few more days. Anyone have any guesses at how much longer it will be before the FC?

No its fine to just drop the temp. I would say, without knowing how long it took to reach the point its at now, it will be probably be 4-6 days.

Good luck :mushroom2:

for sure ha. this mycelium is from jars that started to get yeast, however the mycelium overcame most of it. so i just scraped the clean parts of the jar into the tray and no signs of contaminations yet!! fingers crossed haha.
