Nice, I told my friend who goes to Evergreen to go and she said she'd already been looking forward to it for weeks. She's going to let me know how it is. Wish I could go.

I just wanted to shout out my support for your program (at Evergreen) and the speaker. You are bringing policy solutions to light that are outside of the regular "tax it or ban it" approach to policymaking taught in mainstream policy schools. Keep it up!
Paul Stamets is a number one advocate for our community, fungi, and its interaction with the environment. Watch his video here
I wish we could bridge the gap between mushroom cultivators and drug connoisseurs, to people who are conscious about fungi, the earth and the environment. Make the intellectual connections and take action on it...

I had to go watch 6 ways that mushrooms can change the world after I read this. That's a great video.

I wish it was longer. STamets doesn't have any other talks that have been recorded like that TED talk does he?

I haven't found any yet, I'll let you know if I do. I wonder if this talk at Evergreen is going to be recorded.

I doubt the whole thing was recorded, it was more than 2 hours.

What does length have to do with being recorded? I've listened to 4 and a half hour Terence Mckenna lectures. I'm not trying to be a smart ass, I'm genuinely interested to see if there's a reason. That being said, I also don't think it was recorded, but it would be nice.

I suppose I should have said that it was likely recorded, but unlikely to be published on the web. I could be wrong, keep your eyes peeled. The guy has spoken many times, and I know I haven't seen more than 20 minutes of any of them on the web.
I also haven't really searched for it....
