Feds raid 5 locations in Oakland
County, Detroit in marijuana crackdown
April 12, 2011 - Detroit Free Press
Federal agents raided at least five properties in Oakland County and
Detroit this morning.
U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration agents were at two marijuana
facilities in Walled Lake and Novi, a home in Commerce Township and the
Bayside Sports Grill in Walled Lake. They also raided Coliseum Bar and
Grill strip club on Eight Mile in Detroit.
DEA Group supervisor Andrew Eiseman said sealed federal search warrants
were executed, but few other details were released.
He would not say why the warrants were issued or provide more details
about the investigation. He did not say if any arrests have been made
and would not comment on whether the raids were connected.
The home raided is located in the 3300 block of Benstein Road and is
owned by Romel and Ban Casab, according to the Oakland County
Assessor’s Office. Romel Casab is listed as the resident agent of
Caregivers of America L.L.C. on state records. He has said in a lawsuit
that he is one of the owners of the former Packard plant in Detroit.
A neighbor who lives across the street from the home said she first saw
agents at the home shortly after 7 a.m. today. A black convertible was
taken out of the garage and driven out before it was towed away,
neighbor Annette Winberg, 66, said. Another car was also taken, she
said.
About 10 agents were at the home this morning with four or five cars
when a Free Press reporter arrived.
The medicinal marijuana facility in Walled Lake is located at 1020
Decker Road. Walled Lake assessor records say it is owned by 1020
Decker LLC. The assessor’s office said it sends the company’s tax bills
to a suite on West 12 Mile Road in Novi, which was raided this morning.
Calls to Caregivers of America and to the Commerce Township home were
not returned. A woman at the home in Commerce Township declined to talk
to a Free Press reporter.
The DEA is working with the Oakland County Sheriff’s office on the raid.
FUCK YOU DEA. I wish Americans would start to do things like the mexican cartels...then we would probably see change...well if not then atleast more of those motherfuckers would be slaughtered.

My buddy's house in Oakland County was just raided a couple nights ago and hes a cardholder. Its ridiculous that the police are coming into the homes of nonviolent individuals in the middle of the night with guns drawn.
i seen some state troopers from kentucky talking about how they spend almost 2 million dollars a year on the war against some pot, they only destroyed 250,000 plants. BAHAHAHAHAHAHA stupid barney fife mofos. people need to stand up and get out of the bubble the government wants you to live in. times are bad and they have no problem wasting our money on BS. back to the troopers, do they understand how much money 250,000 plants would have made them!!!? 500 a plant would be 125,000,000 dollars!!!!! WTF is wrong with america. it is time for a new generation of politics. i guess we will have to wait until they stop giving out welfare checks and food stamps before we will see some civil war type action. the sweet life is about to come to an end fo alot of people. trillions in debt and they can still waste billions on "the war on drugs".
sorry if i babbled too much, i am just fed up with the bs going on in the US.
