2nd stone harvest from my ATL#7 project; reanimated moss on casing!

Below are some pics from my ATL#7 grow that I've had going on for about a year. http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=13280052&page=0&vc=1#13280052
I started it last April, I harvested the stones from the jars and cased the grains in October of last year, and I've just let it sit and fruit in my shotgun since then. As time went on I noticed the substrate mounding up in spots and was wondering if it was growing new stones. I terminated the project this past weekend and sifted through the casing. Here's what I found:

The total wet weight came to 142.7, which is about 20g more than the first harvest from the jars. The casings were so old (about 6 months) that the peat moss came back to life. It looks like mold from afar, but up close you can tell that the moss had sprouted:

edit: I forgot this one:

Were the flushes continuous, or just a few good flushes?

I believe these were 2 long, continuous flushes - the first flush started forming after the first initial grain shake in the jars, and the second started after I shook the jars up again and spawned the grain in the trays.

The moss is pretty.
Are you going to eat the stones?
I am getting ATL7 prints right now too. They are no too hard. They do take time though.
Nice!

Yeah, they're not hard at all, pretty much set and forget!
I think I'm gonna eat some of them this weekend. I have a bunch left from the first grow, but these look too tasty to pass up. That big one has my name written allll over it!

That is pretty sweet Sanguine -two flushes with stones. Good work. That moss cracks me up. Nature never ceases to amaze me.

Hehe, I know... I almost left that tray alone just to see how lush the moss would get!

This is so cool. I really like the surprises that come from loving neglect. I didn't have much interest in trying to fruit sclerotia producers, but I have a neglected plate of mexicana A that just started to send up a few fruiting bodies...so I'm getting the itch to case something.
