My First LC
    #14278044 - 04/12/11 01:29 PM (12 years, 9 months ago)

On the 9th I set up a salsa jar with a teaspoon of light corn syrup.  I have agitated once around noon and then again around midnight for the last couple days.  I did not put a stirrer in or anything like that.  I did use a full 10cc's of solution.  I woke up today and the liquid is still crystal clear but the mycelium just exploded today.  Very good size pieces floating everywhere.  I am going to be inoculating one test BRF jar to make sure there is no contams.  If that is successful I will be using this for my first Rye grain jars/ monotub grow starting tomorrow.  This is so exciting.  My first batch of BRF jars are almost done and, boy do they look great too.  Bright white, nice and thick.  About 75% I would say.  Still the LC is my baby because If I can learn to do this well I don't have top worry about whether I have enough solution for my grows.
