First Flush (I think), any good?

I think the first flush of my b+ grow might have finished because there's only a couple of mushrooms growing at the moment, its slowed down a lot. How do I know when a flush is over and i can dunk my cakes again?
Also, I got 60 mushrooms from "the first flush", in my opinion they're not that big which is disappointing. Do you think this looks like a good harvest? (theyre all completely dry in this photo):

One shouldn't think to grow just for harvest weight IMO but it looks nice, those don't even look like b+.

well i'm growing to try and get as many shrooms as i can, would you call it a good amount for a first flush?
Its funny you should mention that they don't look like b+ because i thought exactly the same thing when the first few popped up, i thought they maybe looked a bit more like golden teacher or something. I was expecting the caps to be a darker brown. The spore syringe did have a "cubensis b+" label on it though. Heres a few more photos:

edit: I used the PF tek, rolled and dunked my cakes.

i mean if you got that result off a few cakes it looks pretty good but if you had 6 monotubs working then id say you failed..

B+ can grow much bigger depending on your substrate and fruiting conditions. In one of my monotubs I produced a couple hundred ten to fifteen inch tall mushies (all of which had hollow stems) which weighed out to be about two thirds of a pound after the first flush.

8 cakes, don't know what the weight was haven't got any scales yet but they all seem to have hollow stems, is this a good harvest for 8 pf cakes then? I'm hoping bigger mushrooms will come through with the next flush going off things i have read.
going back to one of my other questions, and it may seem to be an obvious answer, but when do i know if a flush is over? i don't want to dunk my cakes if there's more mushies fruiting. And also, is it a good idea to dunk between flushes anyway?
cheers

Yes always dunk after a flush as this will replace the moisture your mushrooms have taken during fruting. If you do not dunk you will not see more or bigger flushes down the road as the substrate becomes too dry. Hollow stems are common in certain strains of cubesnsis (or at least to my knowledge) so nothing to worry about there. Also I believe they are due to rapid growth but again nothing 'wrong' with them. I moved from PF tek to monotubs with great success. I would say that is a great flush for PF cakes however. Also, you know the flush is done when your pins start turning into aborts (black caps and no growth). Once you see that I would pick the aborts, dunk, and place back into fruiting.

You know its time to dunk when the cakes feel really light.....Next time feel the weight after you dunk, then compare that weight to that of the cake after harvest....If it feels light then dunk...

Yeah, dunk em for 24 hours and see what you get in the 2nd flush. From the looks of it I would say you got a pretty decent first flush for your (?)first grow(?). I'd be proud of myself if I were you. Know that you did good and just know that you can continue to improve. Congrats!

Thanks for the encouragement. My cakes have been sitting in a pan of cold water for 12 hours now, I'll put them in terrarium again after 24 hours, but I was wondering if I should also roll them in another layer of vermiculite? I I don't have any at the moment so if I should do this it means i'll have to go looking for verm tonight.

You shouldn't roll them in verm before your second flush.
