So I was out meditating in my backyard and I remembered that I haven't been through my woods in a long time, so I decided to get my camera and go play in the woods. Really made me feel like a kid again. I haven't been back there in so long, and I've been living in a ghetto ass neighborhood before I moved back in with my parents. So I get creeping through these woods taking pictures and stuff and I decided to make a video. I get going through these woods for a while and get a little lost, and theres not really any trails or anything and I just keep walking south, and I had this odd feeling, like the trees were telling me to turn back and I was like "no, I want to finish what I started" and so I finally get to the other side of the woods and I end up by some condo complex or something and my camera's dead at this point, so I just want to get back. I make a turn at the first northbound street I find and the cops are driving towards me. I just keep walking until the car stops in front of me and the cop steps out and asks me what I'm doing. I calmly tell him that I'm just taking a little nature walk through the woods in my backyard. He tells me that they got reports of someone ditching a bag in someone's back yard (my backyard wtf) and they patted me down and had me sit in the car while one cop brought my bag over. I didn't have anything in there but a pillow and a book, so they let me go. I was like whatever, dude and found my way home. Anyway here's the video:

Dude, you need to learn your rights when it comes to police. No way you should have let them search you or pat you down or anything.
Here's a great video on the general topic, apparently some high school teachers got suspended showing this to grade 12s - you know, educating them and stuff.
Take note of the young male at the bus stop who gets approached by police, it's probably closest to your circumstance but ALL of this is pure gold.

"Are you detaining me, or am I free to go?" "I don't consent to searches."
Two lines you should always use on pigs. Especially if you have nothing to hide.
Sorry I have nothing to contribute. My backyard is the size of a big closet.
