So i am already going to be using a humidifier and perlite but i am worried about over moisturizing if I add verm to the substrate.

You have me very confused.
Do you still need verm for what exactly?
Verm is used in your substrate mixture to make brown rice flour cakes (A.K.A PF Tek).
Perlite is moistened and then added to your shotgun fruiting chamber at a depth of at least 4" to provide humidity in your chamber. Also note it is very important to have your holes drilled on all 6 sides and have your chamber elevated on jars so air can flow free under the chamber.
If you are using a SGFC you really do not need a humidifier, the perlite provides the humidity.
I do not understand what you are trying to ask...you are going to be using a humidifier and perlite but your worried about over moisturizing if you add verm to the substrate...... I do not know what you are talking about lol.
