Yeah thats what im trying to do, i actually just plugged it in on a 12/12 timer. Should it run 24/7 or should it run 12/12 with the lights?

You don't need a humidifier for a mono. You would normally use them in green houses, like a martha. Where there's more open air and greater need of humidity and FAE.

Well its been sitting well n consolidated for quiet some time now and not pinning so i've seen other posts that used it sucessfully and i cant see how more fae and stable RH is gonna be bad.

Well your RH in the mono should be high already w/o the humidifier. Do you have a hydrometer? If it's low then you might need to pack more polyfill. If it's not low and you need more FAE then loosen the polyfill. You still don't need the humidifier, need being the operative word. But I guess it couldn't hurt. The whole point of the mono is so that you don't need humidifiers or to constantly fan and mist. It's meant to be low maintenance.

In that small of a space, you're going to flood and suffocate your substrate even if it's set on low. Try doing a little bit of light manual spraying and fanning. Besides, mycelium gets most of its moisture from the substrate itself, not from the misting or humidification.

well i came home today to what looks to be the beginning of about 5 pins. I misted because it was looking rough and my humidifier wasnt running properly n dried out the walls of the tub.
Super strong mushy smell in the room btw. Smells promising!
