i was gunna say.. those look like a coprinus(sp?) species to me.. is coprinus and coprinopsis the same thing??

They are not near bout what the ones yall are saying when you are staring right at it, But I can understand how they may resemble them with my crappy cam..

Pic # 1 looks too tall for P. cubensis, perhaps you can clarify things by taking some more cell phone pics in a day or 2. Or borrow a camera from a friend.
P. cubensis pins are more round.

As far as I know there are not really any cube-look-alikes that pose a serious danger, especially any that are only distinguishable by the color of their gills. Cubes are a very distinct species. If they are growing straight out of a cow flop, have a purple ring, golden cap, and bruise blue, and are in the southern coast of the U.S. then you can rest assured you have a cubensis.
