Love after death...
    #14272848 - 04/11/11 02:56 PM (12 years, 10 months ago)

I love my girlfriend very much.

We all aren't allowed to look into any one other sphere besides your own (correct?), in other words your conscious bubble of being.

When I materially die, and she materially dies, will I have her there? Or will I just hold the feeling that we were able to share in this life as memories with each other?

Will she still be there with me when I die? Will I be able to do all that I desire to have with her now and more when we die? I love her so much, I don't want her to go away when I die - and love seems to be the supreme underlying factor for everything anyways, so I should be able to hold her in the eternal sea right? Or she just an illusion created for temporary feeling while down here on Earth?

I don't want to lose her, even after I die...

No life after death. Existence is no more :feelsbadman:

What has made them conceive that man must want a rationally advantageous choice?
I've become desensitized to these types of occurrences thus far. Yet, there lies a sensation of bitter disappointment embedded within.

FINE YOU IMBECILE; SUFFER!! IT IS YOURSELF THAT YOU ARE HURTING. NOTHING IS DETERRING YOU FROM ATTAINING THAT OF WHICH YOU INHERENTLY CRAVE. YOU HAVE LET THEM TAKE OVER YOUR MIND, YOU ARE NO LONGER IN CONTROL, YOU NEVER WERE.

How can you prove this?
There could be reincarnation or your consciousness just flows to a different plane without you ever materializing into another being, yet being fully aware of who you were and where you're at?
Since what happens when you die is one of the biggest mysteries, assume nothing.
You could be together, you could be on your own.

So what's the point if life is so short? She's the only thing I probably can't let go of. Maybe when I get old I'll see the difference, but I don't ever wanna lose her heart, her love.

Screw everything else, if I have to reincarnate, I want to find her again. She has set me so free, gave me so much love, why would I want to just accept that I'll never see her again? I want to be with her forever.

Could we become immaterial beings when we die? Are we really only dust in the wind, or are we more than that? If our souls are eternal, life must be eternal, and death must be inevitable for us, so I should be able to meet all the peoples' souls I ever met with while on Earth, right?

If our spirits/energy go to different planes when we die, then it is possible we wont meet every soul that was on earth. The thing I have learned is to not worry about the future. If you truly enjoy the company of this girl, then by thinking about not being together is not living to the fullest and it is taking away from the time you have. If nothing is certain, what do we do with all this time?
Live gloriously.
Hold every breathing moment close. The most meaningful moments here on earth, are bound to follow us to the afterlife.

All memories of images and of creatures will pass on...This is the way reincarnation works...Your essence beyond memory does not cling to objects or beings for expression, that is what you do as a creature in the flesh....

You may feel compassion and love and sexual desire combined for your girlfriend...But some of these things would pass away with the body you see?

I don't understand why you would get so attached to love in one manifestation if you really believe love is underlying everything. Sounds like you aren't quite convinced of what you're claiming, or that you're only claiming it because you find comfort in it.

How do you know anything passes on? Your essence could just be the firing of neurons, which is what your brain does as a creature in the flesh. IMO it's just as likely that reincarnation doesn't work at all. I see your tripping though, so it's understandable :mushroom2:. I have those kinds of thoughts too. Have a nice trip :peace:.

Edit. I also have these thoughts when sober. Sry . Not being able to prove them makes me doubt it all.

Im not tripping...My status has been that since December 2008 :ifyoucanawe:

I dont really understand your point but...

If your body dies...Then operating systems and organs of your body "DIE" as well correct?

How is your essence the electrical impulse of neurons...That is part of your Essence CREATING your fleshly body...Creating memory and the function of the brain....When you think about it...Reincarnation is a perfect theory...

Nothing of the body "Passes on" No literal IMAGE or PERSON is kept because that brain has died correct? BUT that does not mean that some kind of information isn't kept in the form of what lives on...Your essence..Your soul...That which Reincarnates back into a creature...This is all ancient reincarnation belief...That is why you can reincarnate into anything...Because your essence is pure consciousness, pure energy, not memory, not brain size...not even the fact that you are human...At least that is an Ancient Hindu way of looking at it...Or perhaps even a 'Buddhist' way...

I find much comfort in it, it makes me feel this is a great thing to do while being here. I'm not fully capable of understanding love at its' purest at the moment, or death conscious. But, I have a great understanding of what they feel like in many forms. I just want to know if LOVE passes through with you. Even though the body and all its' components die, what exactly do you keep?

Glad you're not gazing into her bubble. Also, after death, you will rejoin source. Even if she is not yet dead, her higher self is eternal, just like yours. You will, hopefully without expectations or assumptions before death, realize you are already with her in eternity and always have been. Death is the harvest of the being to be allowed to move on without the limitations of the body.

All is well brother. Nothing can separate the inseparable (duh lol)

Any thing that causes you to worry about it's loss, is going to be lost. IMO the worry is because we strongly suspect this to be true, even when we're trying to convince ourselves otherwise.

Some might call that attachment. Which goes to say that if you are attached to her, you will lose her until you let her go. Then, it gets interesting

I said sorry . Plus, the joke is on me. I ponder the same things sober. Took some time to realize that though .

I think I misunderstood what you said anyway. I edited it in-between. What I meant to ask was how do you know that the energy that passes on after you die also contains your "essence"? We have no proof that "pure consciousness" a.k.a. essence is more than just a concept created by our imagination. I am not saying reincarnation doesn't exist. I am just saying that it's as likely to happen as nothing at all, since we have no proof of either.
