What are your fears?

I don't spend a lot of time thinking about these things, but they do cross my mind every now and then.
I think my biggest fear or the thing that worries me the most is the day one of my parents die. Especially if my dad dies first, my mom loves him so much i know she would be devastated beyond repair. She's not the kind of person that can handle things like that, and i don't know how she would react..i really worry for her.
I've never had a close loved one pass away either, so either of them dying scares me too. I'm a pretty strong person so i know i can handle it, but it just sucks to think about it.
What do you fear?

Long falls. Rollercoasters (mainly because I envision a long fall happening).
EDIT: It's more than just heights. Because I'll hike up a mountain and be looking down at a 2,000' slope down. Nothing. But if it's a cliff with a straight drop off, I get that vertigo zoom-in-zoom-out feeling when I peer over the edge. (Clammy hands, etc.)
Also, bugs. Primarily cockroaches, spiders, and mosquitoes. Used to be scared of moths, but I've gotten over it. (Now, they've moved into "Annoying but harmless" territory.)

Being alone (not in the sense of being in a house by myself, but being alone companion-wise) for the rest of my life.

Death. I don't know why, but it scares me.
The idea of fading away in to oblivion makes me quake in my boots and has been the trigger of more than one of my bipolar freak outs.

The thought of there being something after death, I dont know why but I would rather fade into oblivion and non existence then be shot into some crazy incomprehensible afterlife upon death.
EDIT: and being on stage, alone, in front of a horde of people.

Tarantulas can live up to 30 years of age. They shed their skin once they have outgrown them. Spiders are partially blind, even with eight eyes.
My fears are heights, powerlessness, loneliness and neurological degradations.

I don't really fear anything much anymore.
I don't believe death to be the end so i think of it as exciting like jumping into a swimming pool. I will dislike my parents dying but I'm not in fear of it. I will just have to grieve when it comes and one day join them.
I don't like planes, I choose to use boats although I can't say I'm in fear of planes because I just feel excited when I'm on them. Dunno I'm not really in fear of anything because fear seems to be an emotional response that is immediately removed by logical thinking.
Its pretty much useless. I imagine I'd be experience it if I was being eaten by a tiger or something but dunno - not much else really causes fear? Its a tough question. I have many dislikes but I just don't want to do them because I dislike them - thats very different than being afraid.

Being buried in an avalanche. I hate the cold, I'm claustrophobic, and there isn't shit you can do about it.

premature death. financial hardship. imprisonment.
not necessarily in that order.
also, global destruction and the end of the human race.

So much this. Straight drops near me make me lose my balance, well maybe not my balance but that vertigo feeling kicks in. WHY?!? when near an edge why does my body want to do that to me? It seems completely wrong for a survival situation.
I don't even mind being up in a small plane, just that edge. Those high mountain roads bother me when there is a few hounded feet drop but even then I don't have a problem, unless it is that crazy road in S. America I think it is, mainly because of the oncoming traffic.
As far as fear of life changing events... none really, going randomly blind or deaf or becoming a paraplegic but they really are not fears I guess. Just the worst thing that could happen.
Oh yeah that pickle thing almost happened to me a few weeks back. Damn that was one well preserved jar.

I know, right?
I have yet to see how I will handle rock climbing, but my guess is: not well.

I feel the exact opposite I wish the world would go into complete chaos. I think it would be fun.
