The band-aid bullshit that Girardi pulled was really, really, really, really gay.

I hate the Yankees as much as the next guy, but Leyland pulled the same shit on the Yankees the day before.

This may be the best season of baseball in history. Phillies/Cards and Brewers/D'Backs games were both epic. Ryan Howard season-ending walk-off torn achilles tendon? Check. Phillies get shutout and lose 0-1? Check. Yankees lose? Check. Alex Rodriguez terrible and ends the Yankees season with a gay little frail little half swing? Check. Awesome.
ps
Joe Girardi looks like an inbred mongoloid fuckface.

It pretty much worked, though, didn't it? The bandaid gave up 1 run over 7 innings.

That's just douchy but no surprise. A-Rod wasn't the only one who sucked. Not by a long shot.

Everyone except Cano basically (offensively). I don't think Girardi should have used Sabathia in game 5 at all. I probably would have tried to use Robertson and Rivera for two innings each.

The Yankee pitching did a pretty good job. 3,5,5,1,3. I'd take that. Short series' suck

Nova did an excellent job in game 1. I don't know what your fucking problem is. The Yanks out hit and out pitched the Tigers. They just had an unfavorable distribution.

I wasn't really getting on Nova. He's a useful pitcher. I just think that he may not have actually gotten hurt during game 5. And I was being serious that I was impressed with the Yankees pitching after Nova got pulled. He was good in game 1, and the Yankees would have had a much harder time winning the division without him. My problem is simply fuck the Yankees. I think you know that about me.

Look, I hate the fucking Red Sox and the Mets but when they do well I respect them. My emotions don't color my analysis. Much.

I'm just bitter about the Braves collapsing in September. Rooting for the underdog is in my nature and the Yankees are the antithesis of underdog. Still, I really think this season is possibly the greatest in baseball history. The epic comebacks and collapses, the 3 one run game five victories in the division series, the two best teams getting knocked out in the first round of the playoffs, the clear return of drug-free baseball, the epic rebounds from guys like Matt Kemp and Jacoby Ellsbury, the awesomeness of the Phillies rotation, the shear unlikely-ness of all of those turns of events is why baseball is the greatest sport.
